Does anyone know if Turbotax desktop has been updated so the overtime pay entered flows through to the 1040?    That isn't happening now.   Thanks!

We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?  What section of TurboTax is this taking place in?  Did you have any carryovers on your 2024 return that are rolling over to 2025? If so, what was carried over? Tax credit, passive losses, ordinary losses?

Can you provide some details - what do you need to fix?   If your return was rejected, please provide the code.
I say we take this to our local news! Put some pressure in these crooks! Unbelievable what’s going on. TurboTax got paid…with our refunds! This is steeling at its finest. No solutions at all

As long as you transmitted the e-file submission before the deadline, the IRS will have record that you met the e-filing deadline on time. It can take up to 4 weeks for the IRS to process e-filed W-2's. In QEF, use the PDF button next to each form to print the recipient copies and mail copies to recipients by February 2.    From the Intuit Quick Employer Forms online FAQ:    I e-filed my form(s), how will I know it was accepted with the IRS or SSA?   After e-filing your W-2 or 1099 form, please monitor your form status in the Forms tab of the corresponding business. The form status will change from "E-File Processing" to either "E-File Accepted" or "E-File Rejected", once the Government Agency processes the form.    The status change may take up to 2 to 4 weeks. You will also receive a notification by e-mail when the status changes.   For W-2 and 1099-NEC, e-file is due by February 2, 2026 . For 1099-MISC, 1099-INT and 1099-DIV, efile is due by March 31, 2026 .   State requirements: I have electronically filed, now do I have to mail or submit anything to my State?   After e-filing, be sure to check your state's website for W-2 or 1099 reporting requirements. Each state's requirements vary, and most don't require the forms be submitted. Perform an Internet search for your state web address to find details. You do not need to mail anything to the IRS or SSA after e-filing with Quick Employer Forms.

Removing the 8453-FE and reattaching worked today for me also.  Please note that I did try this multiple times over the past few days, and it didn't work....so....your mileage may vary.  I would say if you had previously tried it without success, give it a shot now.  Thanks to those who provided this solution...and I'm glad to have this filing out of the way!

If you have already filed and the VA state return has been accepted, there's nothing you can do.  You will have to wait for your return to process and hopefully VA processes it without any issues.  If you're due a refund on your VA state return you can monitor the status here.   If your return was rejected or have not yet filed, go to your VA state return in TurboTax and go to the Other Tax Situations section and revisit the Virginia Identity PIN section and edit accordingly.
When you sign in, scroll down and click on Add a State - -that will open your return so you can get to the Print Center and print the worksheets.    How to access your return post filing

That is due to a missing Form 8283 for charitable donations - that section was recently updated.  This is now fixed but you will need to follow these steps to generate the form and fix your rejection:   Sign in to your TurboTax Online account and select Fix my return. Select Federal from the left menu, then Deductions & Credits. Scroll down to Charitable Donations and select Revisit next to Donations to Charity in 2025. You must review each non-cash donation entry. For any donation or group of similar items over $500, ensure you have provided: The organization's name and address. A description of the property. The date you acquired it and how (e.g., purchase, gift). Your cost or basis and the Fair Market Value (FMV). Once you provide these details, TurboTax will automatically generate Form 8283.   If the form still does not appear in your Tax Summary: Go to Tax Tools > Tools > Delete a form. Check if there is a "ghost" Form 8283 or Charitable Contribution Worksheet that is blank. Delete it. Go back to the Donations section and re-enter the details for the specific high-value items. This forces the software to re-trigger the form creation. Once corrected, proceed to the File section to resubmit your federal return.    From TurboTax Expert CatinaT1

@ ladyksadness1 wrote: How can I use my one account to create new filing for my family members? I do not see an option to start another filing for my family. In Online TurboTax you cannot prepare more than 1 online Federal return in the same account (User ID).   Don't try to prepare a second one in the same account; it would overwrite the first return.    Each Federal return has to have its own account (User ID).   That being said, you can use the same email address for account notifications, however, in the Intuit Account Profile Settings for up to 5 accounts.   But each user ID (login) has to be  unique for each account.   In the desktop software, one can prepare multiple Federal returns and have up to 5 free Federal efiles.  The desktop software is the best choice for families or others needing to prepare multiple returns.
