TurboTax does not pay the taxes owed for you.  Your bank information was sent with the e-filed federal tax return.  The IRS will debit your account.   Your date of payment stays valid.  It may take the IRS up to 10 days to debit your account during this time of the tax season.   Call IRS e-file Payment Services 24/7 at 888-353-4537 to inquire about or cancel your payment, but please wait 7 to 10 days after your return was accepted before calling.

Excuse me, but I do not think you use turbotax. I have been trying to solve the same problem and turbotax desktop does not offer any explanation as to the rejection or as to how to fix the error. Be truthful with us instead of giving us useless instructions. For my filing, I am going to contact the California FTB tomorrow and ask them directly what should do. This is the third year I've encountered issues with turbotax, and I am sad to say after nearly 5 years filing business returns with the H&B edition and 20 years of my personal returns, I will be looking for a different option next year. Intuit's investment in congressional votes to cancel the IRS's free filing notwithstanding, I'll still be looking at other options. Intuit the other tax prep companies who bought off our corrupt lawmakers are unamerican, but then so are all "persons" with the last name "incorporated". Capitalism is not a political structure or form of government. It is a means to consolidate all money and power in the hands of a few, to "buy off" whatever government where they are doing business, and to LIE to the public to gain then rinse and repeat until the public has lost everything, including their government.  Oh, yes you have my permission to share this reply with whom ever you with, like maybe the exec? 

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities.  There is no rule as to which one will come in first or how long it will be between their arrival in your account.   TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.  “21 days”  is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.      First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Thanks for reporting your support experience.  That is the most useful reply in this thread, confirming that there is a problem for many people.   From my perspective, I suspect a problem related to the quantity of slips or slips coming from multiple sources.    I did my father’s report yesterday on my same software and computer, and with 3 or 4 documents to upload, it did work… but it missed one really important information (Quebec source deduction) that I had to enter manually.  Consequently, from this experience, even when it works, could be reliability issues ?          

Same problem here. Received only one T5 and one T3. Idem with Revenu Québec.   I reached Intuit on Facebook. As recommended, I changed and tried with 3 different browsers and erased caches and cookies. They finaly answered to fill manually. No expectation that they correct the problem.   I also tried new installations with my and other computers.   I am from QC and using Win11, Turbotax Standard Download version v. 10.01.81 (numéro 8002) .

I don’t see anything that addressed my question. I had to click through the yellow boxes repeatedly, and deleting the import to enter a summary isn’t a reasonable solution. Transparency with detailed information should be part of the process.
