@ toth.ryan.c wrote: I was going through the steps to file and took the option to have the "Expert Final Review". The app gave me the option to have someone call me, text me, or skip for now. I chose to skip for now because I didn't have the time to talk with someone right then. I now have the time, but I'm having trouble figuring out how I get ahold of someone. Anytime I do a search for the expert review, it comes up with the full service stuff for $200-$300 which isn't what I'm looking for. How do I get the review that I paid for?   If it were me, I'd start with the Final Review tab in the left menu column.  Have it check your return.  If it doesn't find anything wrong, see if it asks you if you want a final review by an expert.   If it doesn't ask at that point, continue forward to the FILE section to see if that offer screen is again encountered along the way.

In TurboTax Online, you won’t find a specific box labeled "Schedule E, Line 11" during the interview. Instead, Line 11 (Management Fees) is populated by the information you enter in the Expenses section for your rental property.   How to find it in the interview Go to Federal > Wages & Income. Find Rentals and Royalties and select Edit/Add. Click Edit next to the specific property you are working on. Scroll down to the Expenses section and select Management Fees. Enter the total amount you paid to a property manager or management company for the year. This amount will automatically flow to Line 11 on your final Schedule E.
Can you please clarify what screen you are on and what you are trying to do so we may help you?

1099-INT Box 3 income from TreasuryDirect T-bill interest is not being included in the total of state-tax-exempty income for California, resulting in paying state tax on T-bill interest which is supposed to be tax-exempt! I have correctly entered the income in Box 3 of the income 1099-INT section but TurboTax mishandles it, it appears.

Is the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box checked on the 1099-R, and is it checked in TurboTax? Were you over 70½ years old at the end of 2025? Both of those conditions must be true for the QCD question to be asked. Then you must continue through all of the questions in TurboTax after you enter the 1099-R, and after you have finished entering all of your 1099-Rs. When you do get to the question, it does not say "QCD." It asks whether you "transferred all or part of this money directly to charity." You will not see the term QCD until after you have finished entering it.

The program has been selecting the larger of sales tax or state and local taxes unless you directed it to choose one or the other. However, you won't necessarily see the result from the input screens or the summary screen.   In TurboTax Online: Go to Tax Tools > Tools > View Tax Summary > Preview my 1040.  Look at Schedule A, Line 5. This section will show you which taxes are being deducted.   See this TurboTax tips article for more information about Schedule A and itemizing your deductions.

If you haven't paid yet, follow these steps to remove the state entirely: Sign In to your TurboTax account and open your return. Select State Taxes from the left-hand navigation menu. On the Status of your state returns screen, you will see a list of the states you've started. Select the Trash Can icon (or the Delete link) next to the state you want to remove. Answer Yes to confirm the deletion.   Filing Only Federal - You can e-file your Federal return and simply skip the State filing. Go to the File section. Continue through the screens until you reach "Just one more step" or "Let's get ready to file." You will see a list of your returns (e.g., Federal, California). Look for a button or link that says "I want to file my state later" or simply uncheck the box next to the state return. Proceed to e-file only the Federal return

Having the same(?) issue attempting to purchase a TurboTax Desktop product. Tried different browsers and credit cards.  Keep getting "We are sorry, we are having trouble authorizing your credit card. Please verify your billing address, card number and CW and try again."   Maybe a temporary issue with the processor?  If so, the error message is poor.

I signed up for the full package turbotax service to file my Canadian taxes from home in Australia.  There was no mention that i could only proceed with access to a Canadian phone number so i am left with a service that is unusable and $112 out of pocket.  The service should state the requirements to use it before taking payment from customers, this is a complete scam.  I want a refund

If You Used TurboTax Online Once a return is e-filed and accepted, it is stored in your TurboTax account.  Sign in to your TurboTax account using the exact same User ID you used for filing. On the Tax Home screen, scroll down to the section titled "Your tax returns & documents". Select 2025 and then click Download/print return (PDF). If the return is locked or you only see an "Add a State" option: Click Add a State (this is a workaround to reopen the return interview without actually adding a state). Once inside, select Tax Tools from the left menu, then Print Center. Select Print, save or preview this year's return and choose your preferred PDF option (e.g., "Just my tax return" or "include government and TurboTax worksheets").

When stock exercise income is reported in Box 1 of your W-2, it reflects ordinary income already included in wages. The broker's 1099-B reports the stock sale, but often shows no or incomplete cost basis. To prevent double reporting in TurboTax Online, enter your W-2 as given, then enter your 1099-B. When asked if the sales include employee stock options, say Yes. TurboTax will help adjust the 1099-B entry to exclude the income portion already reported on your W-2. Because the sale on the 1099-B may occur later due to transaction settlement timing, the gain or loss reported there is often minimal. Review any supplemental statement from your broker carefully; it usually provides adjusted basis information that accounts for income included in your W-2. Using this basis adjustment ensures you only report gain or loss beyond what was included as wages, avoiding duplication. This approach addresses the timing and basis complexities common in employee stock option exercises to help ensure accurate tax reporting.

I don't know how it works at your particular wholesale club.   But here's a common scenario:  After you purchased a card in the aisle at Sam's, then after paying did you take the card and receipt to a desk and get the product with the license activation code?   They usually have to get it out of a room/closet.  We have seen people pay for the product then leave the store without picking up the code.   Do you have any question about downloading and installing your product?  You made a couple of statements but haven't really asked anything or mentioned any issue.  The license code is a 16-digit alphanumeric code in this format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.  This is a PUBLIC Internet forum, so do NOT post it here.   If you need help with downloading, installing, or activating, we need to be sure what version of TurboTax you bought-- was it for Online or desktop?   Sam's sells license codes for desktop TurboTax and for Online TurboTax.    The 2 versions are activated through different methods.   Here's what Sams sells:   Desktop Deluxe Desktop Deluxe Federal + State Desktop Premier Desktop Home and Business Desktop Business (corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts) Online TurboTax:  Individuals & Homeowners  (Online Deluxe) Online TurboTax:  Investors & Self-Employed  (Online Premium.)

To change the foreign bank account answer in TurboTax Online, try these steps:   Navigate to Federal > Wages & Income, open an income item and click Done or Continue.  When you get to the summary screen that shows all the income categories, scroll to the bottom and click Continue.  Click Continue again as needed until you get to the follow-up questions about income. Eventually you should see the screen with the question, Did either of you own or control a foreign bank account, trust or financial asset in 2025? Answer No.   If you have done that, try these steps: Clear cache and cookies  Log out of TurboTax, restart your device, and log and back in It is true that sometimes users may inadvertently start a form that was unintended that will stop TurboTax from progressing, but I don't see any on your list that look like they would cause this issue.   If you have tried all of the suggested steps and still have this issue, see this help article for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support.    @user17755624680
