Even though you have already reported the $179.82, you will still need to report it when you receive your 1099-R next year, so enter it exactly as it appears.   The important things to look for in the Form 1099-R are the taxable amount in Box 2a ($18.14) and the code(s) used in Box 7 (Code 8).   TurboTax will ask about the amount in Box 2a in a subsequent screen, where you will indicate that this was a return of excess contributions already taxed in a prior year.

My 2025 taxes already e-filed. The printed forms have marked "not final, do do file", why and when will it be removed from the printed forms?
Just talked to Turbo tax help desk.  Was told it is a software issue and will be fixed by March 13th.  Refile after that date.  Thanks.

Yes, you are following the right path to arrive at your estimated income for 2026. All gain for house and land will end up on Schedule D.    If there is a sale of any other assets such as a lawn mover, appliance, etc these would not go to the Schedule D or receive any special capital gain treatment for a gain at or below the depreciation claimed on the asset.

The document number on a New York State driver license is different from the ID number, and there are several license formats in use. If a system rejects your number, it’s often because the wrong field was entered or the license uses the document number found on the back of the card.   New York DMV guidance explains that the document number is an 8‑ or 10‑character alphanumeric code located:   On the lower right of the front of older licenses, or On the back of licenses issued after January 28, 2014, above the organ donor box and next to the bar code . This is different from the 9‑digit ID number printed on the front.
This is bogus. there is no  Select See all options on the Get your refund up to 5 days early screen.

Because the Mom has an ITIN and not a valid Social Security Number she will only be eligible for the Other Dependent Credit of $500.   Due to changes made by the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) effective in 2025, you must have a valid SSN to claim the Child Tax Credit (CTC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC).  See Instructions for Schedule 8812 (Form 1040) (2025).   Please return to Community if you have any additional information or questions and we would be happy to help.   {Edited 03/09/2025|2:20 PM PST} @user17730086063

@Ptmmryan As you likely know already, Idaho conformance to provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act were only legislated into law on February 17, 2026 - and - based on your own research, Idaho only published the updated instructions a week ago.  Tax software takes time to be reprogrammed, updated, tested, and certified by the taxing agency before changes can be released for use.  Because this change occurred only recently, TurboTax software has not yet been updated to incorporate the changes necessary to conform to Idaho law.   You have a couple of options:   You can continue to file your return as is with the understanding that there is a potential for calculation changes.  Once updates are made in the program, you can amend your return. You can wait until updates are made in the program and then file your return once these updates are ready. At present, I'm unable to get you any information about when to expect TurboTax to be updated to conform to the recent Idaho legislation.  TurboTax does have a statement they are using at the start of the Idaho state return workflow that addresses the options stated above.  Check back over the next few weeks to check for updates to see if the Idaho state tax software is ready.   Another option you have is to only file your Federal return once it is ready and file your Idaho return at a later date when the updates have taken effect.

The senior deduction is automatically calculated by TurboTax based on the dates of birth you entered for each spouse.   The senior additional deduction is not included in the standard deduction but appears on line 37 of Schedule 1-A of your form 1040, with that amount flowing to line 13b of your form 1040.   In TurboTax Online, you can only view Schedule 1-A after registering and paying the TurboTax fee.   But you can preview your form 1040 and check line 13b of your form 1040 which includes the senior deduction among other deductions if applicable, such as the tip deduction, the overtime or the car loan interest deduction.   To preview your form 1040 in TurboTax Online, follow these steps:   Open your return In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools On the Tools Center page, click on View Tax Summary In the left-hand column, click on Preview my 1040 Your form 1040 will display. Scroll down to line 13b   and you should see the amount of this deduction included in this line.

The usual questions are about the particular items that affect your qualified business income deduction (QBID). Try putting $1 in that particular slot to remove the error since you already tried entering a zero.   There should be a statement with your 1065-K1 that provides this necessary information: Ordinary Business Income W-2 Wages Unadjusted Basis Immediately after Acquisition (UBIA) of Qualified Property Please update here if you have the same experience.   @mikeng2000
