I sold gold and silver coins in 2025. I am not receiving a 1099 B. Where can I manually enter my sale into turbo tax?
Can you clarify what you are trying to reference for?  Thanks! @Donryan222

It depends. You do not need to pay taxes to your old county on money earned while living in the new one, but often PA jurisdictions will have a page in the return to be filled out if you moved during the year.  The purpose of this page is to prorate your wages between the addresses.  Since you have separate W-2s, you will fill the page out with actual numbers from the W-2s to split the wages.   Then, prepare each jurisdiction's return and include only the W-2 that was generated while you lived within each. The local information will be found on the w-2 in boxes 18-20.
Past 1099 providers were not worked for this year and TT wants me to review all 98. How do i bypass this as the info is correct?
Great, thanks.  I think I have it figured out!

My e-file was rejected 4 or 5 times yesterday. Looks like paper for me. 😓 Since you are using desktop software, have you checked for the latest TurboTax updates?   If it were me, I wouldn't file on paper unless it was a last resort.  A paper return guarantees that a return will not be processed for weeks or longer.   The filing deadline is still a month off.  If necessary, you could phone TurboTax Support (link below) to see if there's any known IP PIN entry issue pending repair, but there is not a noticeable increase in people posting IP PIN issues in the forum.    Look at the 2 images I posted below.    Is the first one what your screen looks like (or similar) when entering the 6 digits? .         . It's also possible to enter the IP PIN in Forms Mode on the Federal Information Worksheet, Part VII.  Or is it not working there either??   See this image: .       . Otherwise, if you wish, you can phone TurboTax Customer Support to see if there is any known issue. Hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific, 7 days/week. https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/contact/

If you are stuck on a screen, try logging out, restarting your device, and logging in again.   If you are using a Self-Employed version of TurboTax, you can enter your business expenses manually.   In TurboTax Desktop, Home & Business, go to the Business tab and select Business Income and Expenses. Once you open the Business section, categories appear for income and expenses. In Premier, there is also a section for self-employed/ business income and expenses.   In TurboTax Online, Go to Self-Employed Income and Expenses under Wages and Income  Select your business activity or enter a new one by clicking "Add a/another line of work". Continue past the business profile and income questions.  Select Skip where prompted if you don't want to import information. Select a category of expenses and enter the information. No, you do not need to file Form 5329 because you withdrew your 2024 IRA overcontribution before the tax filing deadline in 2025.  You also do not need to amend your 2024 tax return because you actually lost money on the contribution so there is no taxable income.

Well, after some digging, here is the rest of the story.   Arizona has Form 309 to claim credit for taxes paid in other states. HOWEVER, you cannot use it for Oregon and a handful of other states (14 total). So, Arizona will tax your capital gain in Oregon or these other states. BUT you can claim the AZ taxes on your non-resident return in OR.   That is why Turbotax would not allow me to take a credit for OR taxes paid. It actually added the AZ credit to my OR return. All good.   By the way, none of the AI helpers were useful. I had to read the instruction to Form 309 myself.
If you saved your .tax2024 file to a cloud-type storage, it may have become corrupted.  Look for a backup copy on your C drive under Documents > TurboTax.   @olegb

The IRS address in Kansas City (Zip Code 64999) is a legitimate processing center, and receiving Letter 12C is just a request for manual verification of details your e-file couldn't automatically confirm, often due to a mismatch in reported withholding or estimated tax payments as compared to what they expected.    To resolve this, you should send the requested documents, including the IRS letter to one of the methods provided. If you prefer to mail them to the Missouri address, I suggest you use Certified Mail with a Return Receipt for your records, as this provides legal proof of delivery while you wait for the IRS to finish processing your 2025 return. Faxing, however, will be cheaper and provide you with an instant proof of submission.
