I just logged in to TurboTax Online on my MacBook Air and it opened into my test return, and the left side menu is there.    I recommend that you try these basic troubleshooting steps:   Log out of TurboTax Online, restart your device, and try again. For the best experience, ensure your browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) is updated to the latest version. Chrome generally works well with Mac.  Clearing cache and cookies often helps as well. Sometimes Mac users encounter a problem in that the area where they need to take an action is outside the viewable area of their screen. This often happens with the button you need to click to pay for the state e-file In that case, the solution is to adjust the Display, or attach a second monitor with more viewable area. One user suggested a minimum display area of 1024 x 768.

The distribution amount listed on your Form 1099-R should include the income and is reported in box 1 on your Form 1099-R entry. I believe you may have reported the principal distribution in box 1 and the income portion in box 2. For instance, if you over contributed $1,000 and withdrew that plus $10 in income, the entry in box 1 would be $1,010, with $10  going in box 2. So, if your income goes up $10, you withdrew the extra $10 so you should not be over your contribution limit.

To resolve this, make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. The error could also be because both TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop support up to 10,000 of any combination of transactions and imports.  If your file is larger, you will not be able to import it.     Where do I enter Form 1099-B?

Mine was rejected as well, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. The only thing I can come up with is that the tax rate might have been calculated incorrectly. No, Line 4530 is exactly the same in Turbo Tax as CRA.  The difference is line 42000.  Her Non Refundable tax credits are more than her taxes, which makes sense since she makes less than the basic personal exemption yet somehow CRA shows she owes $850 which is then being deducted off her CWB.
Thank you for the solution very much!

@DaveF1006 my question is whether using the "Override" function in TurboTax, as I've outlined in my posts above, is the best solution to what appears to be a bug in the TurboTax Maryland product. Or is there something I'm missing in getting TurboTax to handle interest on U.S. government obligations correctly on my part-year resident Maryland income tax returns? Can you answer that, please? I've posted a bunch of screen shots above to try to explain the problem.  Let me know if you need more information to understand it.

No, it isn't wrong.  And it is a little annoying.  New York takes your entire income and figures the tax on that as though you were a New York resident.  Then it figures out what percentage of your income was New York income and takes that percentage of the tax charged.     Some states figure out your taxable income and then only tax that.  The tax rate is lower if you do it that way.  New York does not.   Although, to be fair, New Jersey does it the same way.
When was the last time you updated your software?

If you are already at the Country Summary page, follow these steps to reach the specific carryover input section: Continue past the summary: Click Done or Continue on the Country Summary page.   Navigate the "Other" screens: TurboTax will ask several follow-up questions (e.g., "Any Other Deductions or Credits?" or "Foreign Taxes Paid or Accrued"). Keep clicking Continue until you are almost at the end of the interview. You will eventually reach a screen titled "Foreign Tax Credit Carryovers." Here you can enter your carryovers from each of the past 10 years.
In this case you should be ready to submit your amended return.     @traviswayde
