OK, thanks for your feedback. Looks like it is the best choice to claim him as a dependent and get the $500 dependent credit at least.  Thanks.  🙂

Hi - I do not see the question "I need to adjust taxable interest" on the 1099-INT screens. All I see is Boxes 1 and 3 with the checkbox "My form has info in other boxes (this is uncommon)". I check the box because I do have a bond premium in Box 11. However, there is no input field labeled "accrued interest paid". it is not under uncommon situations. Where do I see "I need to adjust taxable interest"?
Just report the K-1 info on my 1040 return.  Thanks.

To enter a gain from the sale of personal items on eBay in TurboTax Deluxe 2025 Desktop and report it on Schedule D, follow these steps: 1. Go to the Investments Section: Navigate to the Federal Taxes tab, then select Wages & Income and find the section for Investments and Savings. Select Start or Add Investments. 2. Enter Investment Sales: Choose to enter sales one by one. 3. Select Investment Type: Even though these are personal items, enter them as a sale of property, such as collectibles or other capital assets. 4. Enter Sale Details: On the sale details screen, enter the description, date acquired, date sold, sale proceeds (after fees), and your cost basis (original cost plus any related expenses). 5. Schedule D Reporting: TurboTax will automatically generate Schedule D and Form 8949 to report your gain. Since your gain is about $500 and no 1099-K was issued, reporting the sale this way correctly reflects the capital gain on your tax return.
I'm logging into TurboTax online so I assume it is the latest.   It should show up on the Credits page on my MD State form. But there is no option to enter it.

Turbo tax is ignoring "Section 1256 Option Contracts" at the bottom of import Form 1099-B from Fidelity. I tried to enter it manually but it is very confusing. I went to "Contracts and Straddles". There are 4 options: - Mixed Straddle election - Straddle-by-straddle identification election - Mixed straddle account election - Net Section 1256 contracts loss election   There is no instructions on which one to choose. I picked the last one based on some online post. Now, there are again more 5 options to choose from with no help. I choose "Section 1256 contracts marked to market". I entered Broker, description (enter amount here since my form had amount instead of description), Gain and Losses (#11) and click Done.  Now it asks "Amount to be Carried Back", which I have no idea what it means. These are losses I incurred in 2025 on closed contracts. If I leave it blank, no forms show up in my "Investments and Savings" section It will be so much better if Turbotax could auto import this and we don't have to worry about all these details
