If you are sure that you have satisfied all RMD requirements, then in TurboTax, on the form 1099-R for your RMD withdrawal, answer that The entire distribution was an RMD then on the following page, to the question What is the RMD for your account? enter the full amount of the distribution from that IRA account. There is nothing to enter for the other IRAs.   By doing this, you are telling TurboTax that all RMDs are satisfied and TurboTax will not calculate any penalty. The information you entered in TurboTax is to enable TurboTax to calculate any penalty where applicable, and is not reported to the IRS.

@Susnb14 not sure if you've read the whole thread but they have added "Merrill" as an import source, if you are not seeing it then either restart Turbotax or exit the import screen and go back in to refresh the list.  Others have reported this is working for them.  If you're still waiting for your 1099 to be released then you have to wait.

If you are already filed your 2025 tax return -   You will have to wait for the IRS to either Accept or Reject your filed federal tax return. If the return is rejected you can make the necessary changes and e-file again. If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return. An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return. Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS. See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a current year tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-federal-tax-return-current-year/L7eS6o1qh_US_en_US?uid=lfunevhk

I had winnings from an online casino in Nevada & received my form W2G. I live in Michigan & will need to report this to the state. Upon receiving my W2G, there is nothing in Box 13-State & the box with the payer's state id - as Nevada does not have state income tax. I am wondering what to do as I cannot proceed until I have something entered into these boxes. What do I do?

You will need to add their 1095-A to your return and select that you shared the policy with another taxpayer not on your return.     Since your SSN is on the policy, and you are not claimed as a dependent on their return, the IRS is expecting form 8962 to be attached to your return.  This is the form that is generated when you enter the 1095-A.   You will then be asked to allocate Columns A, B and C.  You can choose any number between 0-100% and your parents would claim the rest.   If your parents claim 100%, you would claim 0%.     It will ask you for your parents income and one of their social security numbers, so you will need to get that information from them.    Where do I enter my 1095-A?
No.  After the tax return has been filed the option for a refund advance is no longer available.

I have three traditional IRA accounts at three different institutions; each account has a required RMD. I took the required RMD for all three accounts from one account. Therefor I only have 1 1099R for all my RMD’s. On the step-by-step page TT says Lets get more information about your required minimum distribution. The information I inputted on this page only pertains to the account from which I took all my required withdrawals for all three accounts at different institutions. But it only asks for the RMD from the one institution that I took all my RMD. At the bottom of the page there is a Note: Do not include the RMD for other retirement accounts you my have. RMDs for other accounts should be entered separately. What exactly does this note mean? I know the required amount of RMD from my two other accounts but as I go through TT premiere there is no place to enter the data. How do I account for the RMDs from the two other institutions?
It appears to be a large amount and I wondered if I am doing it right?

I was glad to find this thread because I independently found the same issue and found the only way to correct it was to update the form directly (Student Info Wk, part VI). But, even after updating the form and saving the file, when I re-open the file the "other expenses" revert to zero.     More details:  My income is too high to qualify for the credits so I'm just trying to enter expenses to counter the 529 withdrawal.  But, until I changed it in the worksheet, Part VI line 19 was populating 10,000 as "used for credit", which was then reducing my Total qualified expenses - so I was getting his with not being able to enter room and board, as well as an extra $10k!   In the form, I updated part VI line 6 (room and board) and changed line 19 (used for credit) to zero and have the correct calculation.  But, if I close and re-open the file, the room and board  entry reverts to zero (although the "used for credit" does not revert).

I am attempting to import documents from brokerages.  This has happened on two.  I successfully authenticate with website beginning https://ttd-fdp-ui-config-v2.app.intuit.com/cg-ttd-us-fdp/acquire109xDocuments?taxYear=2025 but after it says "Success, we got your tax data, you can return to Turbotax..", I go back to Turbotax and nothing has happened.  I've waited 10 minutes for a change in the screen a turbotax and nothing has happened.  I can press continue or skip.  If I press continue, it goes back to importing.  If I press Skip, nothing has happened.     I'm on PC/windows 2011.  Browser is edge.
Please clarify what Form or income you need to enter on Schedule F Line 4a for Agricultural program payments. Have you tried entering this information using the Step-by-Step interview for Farm Income?
