The IRS issues most refunds within 21 days, assuming that there's no delay and nothing is holding your return. Some returns are subject to an automatic hold when certain credits are claimed.  If your return appears “stuck” in processing, it generally means the IRS has received the return but it still reviewing it. This can happen due to errors, missing information, or a security check.  Open the next link, so you can see more possible reasons why your refund appears “stuck”: Why Is My Tax Refund Taking So Long? 7 Reasons for Delays If you want to keep monitoring your refund directly in the IRS website, see the link below: Where's my Refund

Yes, Community‑property income rules apply far beyond W‑2 wages and gig‑work earnings. When you file Married Filing Separately (MFS) in a community‑property state, the law generally requires you to split all community income, which includes investment income such as dividends, interest, and capital gains, unless a specific exception applies.    This comes directly from IRS guidance on community property and Form 8958, which is used to allocate all community income and deductions between spouses when filing separately. The IRS explains that Form 8958 is used to divide “community income and deductions” according to state law, not just earned income.   How to Allocate Income on Form 8958 for Community Property

When IRA contributions for 2025 are Recharacterized in 2026, a 1099-R is not generated until 2027.  So I am not entering a 1099 for the Recharacterization.  This is normal.   Also please note that I am Recharacterizing after my 1040-SR has been completed and submitted.  I am using the Amend Return Using TurboTax Online function, which results in a 1040-X.   I have left everything I changed, without finishing the 1040-X, and you can see it using the token I provided.  When a return is amended, the tax counter at the top of the page is reset to Zeros for Federal and State, and you can see that my Recharacterization shows a tax increase of $245 Federal and $44 State.  This is not "$100% accurate calculations."

Based on the information you gave, it sounds like you are looking at Federal Schedule A and are wondering why line 5e is at $10,000?  Although the SALT limit increased to $40,000 for the 2025 tax season, it is limited by income and starts phasing out for Adjusted Gross Incomes (AGI) above $500,000 (or $250,000 for Married Filing Separately) until AGI is equal to or greater than $600,000 at which point the maximum SALT deduction is $10,000.  You can see this calculation in the State and Local Tax Deduction Smart Worksheet on Schedule A in Forms view in the desktop version of TurboTax.   Colorado also has a State Income Tax Addback on Line 2 of Form 104 if you had itemized deductions on your Federal tax return.   If this information doesn't answer your question that you had, please reply back with as much detailed information as possible about the question/issue you are seeing - this will help us to better help you.
