TurboTax does not have copies or images of your 1099's if that is what you mean.   TurboTax never has images or copies of documents you snap photos of or import.  TT only has the information that was entered from those documents.  It feeds into the interview screens and into the tax forms and worksheets.   If you want an actual copy of your 1099R you have to get that from the financial institution that issued it.

My tax return contains Tax Exempt Dividends on my 1099-DIV, a portion of which is from muni bonds from New York and should not be taxed on the state return.  I have entered the information correctly showing the amount from NYS bonds and the remainder from Multiple States, but it is still carrying over the entire amount as taxable on NY.  Is this a bug in the software?

Here are some workarounds if you receive an error entering Form 1099-Q with Box 4b checked for 'QTP to Roth IRA',    Delete and Re-enter as Contribution: Delete the Form 1099-Q. Instead, report the rollover amount under Deductions & Credits > Retirement and Investments > Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions. This ensures it is not taxed and properly updates your IRA basis. Force Non-Taxable Status: If keeping the 1099-Q in your return, try selecting both "Trustee-to-Trustee Transfer" (Box 4a) and answering "Yes" to "Was this money moved to another qualified account?" in the follow-up questions to trigger the non-taxable status. Verify Criteria: Ensure your 529-to-Roth rollover meets the requirements: >15 years open, same beneficiary, and under the annual limit.  Keep records of the 1099-Q and the transfer for your files.    @MoraMrk

I'm stalled at the very beginning of completing my return. On the "Hi! We're here to help you file with ease" page when I hit continue I get a popup that tells me I'm leaving the site. Then it does.  I spent hours with Inuit and they finally told me it's a known issue and they'd have it fixed in a day or two.  That was a week ago.  There is no "tax home" in the left column  Just the name of the product.  There is no tool menu so I can't just start over. I may have to stop using TT after 15+ years.
I've chatted with a couple of agents and have gotten no where. I simply need to pring out my return.. How can I do that?
