You don't have to file your Amazon Vine 1099 NEC as self employment or a Business.  You will file it under "other income", hobby income.  Now keep in mind, when filing as Hobby income, you can NOT claim expenses.  But your 1099 NEC total is so low, you said just over $600, correct?  You shouldn't feel a tax hit with that small amount.  I've been in the Vine program going on 4 years now.  Ive always filled it under "Hobby income", as its not a business, I don't deduct any expenses, I make no money from the products I receive, Amazon forbids us Viners from selling any item for the 1st 6 months we own it.  And that 6 months starts with the date you requested the item.  You will have to file because Amazon is legally obligated by the IRS to report a 1099 NEC on every one of us Vine reviewers.  You may have some Viners tell you that you have to file it under SE.  Thats not true. Its perfectly legal to file as hobby income.  You're not receiving any "money" from Amazon, although the IRS does consider the products we received, as compensation.  Although its Non Employee Compensation.  I am not a tax professional nor am I a lawyer, so I can't give you professional or legal advice, but I can let you know that its perfectly legal to file your 1099 NEC from Amazon Vine, under Hobby income.  I hope this helps you out a little.  Just remember, when filing as "Other Income", Hobby income " you can't make any deductions or expense your Internet usage.  If you start claiming expenses, then its a business or self employment.  Good luck.

The Maryland two income subtraction allows a deduction of up to $1,200 for a dual income married couple.  The maximum amount of the deduction is $1,200, but it can be lower if the other couple's income (including wages and other allocated income items) are lower than $1,200.  This is a link to a worksheet for this deduction in MD:  Two income worksheet .   I tried a couple of scenarios with a married couple where one spouse only had $500 wage income and the couple jointly had $1000 of interest income and TurboTax correctly allocated half to interest income plus the one spouse's wage income to get a deduction of $1,000 ($500 wages + $1,000/2 interest).  When I bumped up the wage income to $2,000 from $500, leaving the interest income at $1,000, TurboTax gave the correct result of $1,200 for the deduction, which is the maximum allowable.   Go back in and check to make sure that the deduction is figured correctly, keeping in mind that it can't be greater than $1,200.

The IRS has just opened on January 26 to accept/reject e-files.   Any returns that have been accepted before today have been accepted in small random "test" batches.  Everyone else has been waiting on the servers in "pending."   Start watching your emails now that the IRS is open.  Many e-files are on the servers so it could still take a day or two.   When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.   Check your e-file status:   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

@user17693938289 wrote: ....I don't know how to get my data entered all year long out of its deductible... As @baldietax said, you have to enter the donations just like you would with any other DIY tax software.   Also, a feature enhancement is supposed to be added (in an update) that will place a value (FMV) on each donation you enter (much like TaxAct and H&R Block).
I am trying to find out why the IRS hasn’t accepted my return yet it says pending?
To clarify, which TurboTax version are you using? Are you using the web-based online version or the software version downloaded to your desktop?   @GingerE

You can change the email address associated with your account through your account settings.   Intuit uses a single sign in system for all Intuit products, so changing it here will also update it for any other Intuit products you use, such as QuickBooks or Credit Karma.   To Change Your Email Address: Select Intuit Account located in the lower-left corner of your screen (near the Sign Out button). On the Account Manager page, select the Sign in & security menu. Select the Email address section. Enter your new email address and then enter it again to confirm. Enter your current password when prompted to verify the change. Select Save. Check your new email inbox for a verification link from Intuit and click it to finalize the update. If you can't sign in at all, you can go to the Intuit Account Recovery page. This requires you to upload a photo of a government-issued ID to verify your identity.

To see the statements, here's how to get all the forms and schedules.   TurboTax Online: Sign in to your TurboTax Account. Scroll down to the "Your tax returns & documents" section. Select the specific tax year you need (e.g., 2025). Click "Add a State" (you aren't actually adding one, but this "unlocks" the return so you can access the Print Center). In the left-hand menu, select Tax Tools > Print Center. Select Print, save or preview this year's return. The Key Step: Look for a checkbox or dropdown that says "Include government and TurboTax worksheets" or "All forms." Click View/Print to generate the full PDF, which will now include every schedule (like Schedule C, D, or E) and the internal worksheets.   TurboTax Desktop: If you used the software installed on your computer, you must open the specific program for that year (e.g., open the TurboTax 2024 app). Open your saved .tax file. Go to File > Print. In the print window, select the radio button for "All forms and worksheets." Choose "Save as PDF" to keep a digital copy with every detail.

If Form 8283 is not appearing in the Forms list on the left-hand side of Forms Mode, the error is being triggered by a "ghost" entry on a supporting worksheet or a data field in the interview that has not yet generated the formal government form.   In TurboTax Business Desktop, you must clear the underlying worksheet that feeds into Form 8283 to resolve the filing block.   The IRS requires Form 8283 when noncash donations exceed $500. If you haven't made any, a $0 or a stray character on a worksheet is the likely culprit. While in Forms Mode, click the Open Form button at the top of the left-pane list. In the search box, type Charitable Contributions Worksheet and select it. Review the worksheet for any entries. Even a single character or a "0" in a field can trigger the requirement for Form 8283. If the worksheet contains any data, click Delete Form at the bottom of the screen. This will remove the worksheet and should stop the software from looking for Form 8283.
