it's not an issue with your install, everyone is waiting on it.  ignore the email signup there is a bug requesting info on the wrong form.  The section is expected to open next week 1/21 so check for the s/w update then or 1/22.   see   https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/retirement/discussion/re-when-will-the-ira-401-k-pension-plan-with...   "The target date for Form 1099-R is still 1/21/26.  The wrong form 3903 issue for email sign up has been identified and is in the process of being corrected.     In the meantime, you can use the 1099-R Worksheet in FORMS to fill in your pension amounts to continue tax calculations. There have been many posts asking when the software will be released to allow the entry of 1099-R income.  It appears that the community believes that it will be included in the update scheduled for release on 1/21/2026.  My question is why didn't Turbo Tax proactively send out emails to let its users know that?  1099-R income is a very common feature within Turbo Tax. Why did I have to register with an online community to search for that information.  Now I am waiting and hoping that the online community is correct; if not, I will need to do more research to find out what the problem is.

It seems with the last update on January 16th, 2026, I still cannot enter my retirement income.  Are the forms not ready?  Got a TT email saying my forms were ready.  My Desktop TT Deluxe software says "available soon."  Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?  I've downloaded and installed the software on another computer and get the same message.  Feedback welcomed.  Thanks.

The Retirement Income 1099-R section is supposed to become available on 1/21/26.     I don't know if it will happen during the day on Wednesday, or whether it will happen overnight (Wed into early Thurs) with the usual weekly update.   However, projected availability dates are subject to change.

If this is critical feature for you then you can request a refund using the link below.   There are various apps out there that claim to replace the functionality and provide valuations (e.g. Deductible Duck) or you can get valuations at Salvation Army etc, however there is no ability as yet to import donations from these apps into Turbotax.  In the help page on Turbotax there is a comment but not seen any other info about this - "COMING SOON: We’re working on a new tool to help you look up the fair market value of your item. We expect it to be ready soon, but you can file without it."   According to a conversation with customer care, 100k people were using the service out of 40mil returns so they decided it wasn't worthwhile to maintain.   Refund: https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-refunds/request-refund-turbotax-product/L834M6uyW_US_en_US   Download data including ItsDeductible (if used previously or during the year before it was shut down in October): https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/access-manage-personal-data-intuit-account/L8nCbA0px_US_en_US
just ignore the email signup for now.  it's supposed to be available 1/21 so just check later in the week.
Section about HSA, does FSA dollars apply?
This is really upsetting. I want a refund The product is not as valuable without this functionality. What is your proposed solution?
@morehouse-haley9  asked:  "What if I lived in multiple school districts?"   You should name the state to see if someone in the forum today is familiar with it.
