No it shouldn’t make any difference.   Each year is completely separate.
No one can see your screen or your tax return.   Ask clearly worded specific questions so someone will know how to help you.  Where are you stuck?

@mpturbo and @Yoyomike  No one knows for sure, but there should (hopefully) be some updates this week.   Whether or not the overtime section will be included in the updates is unknown.  Some sections "might"update out-of-cycle on Tuesday, January 6, but the regular day for routine updates is normally early hours of Thursday mornings.
No one in this user forum can see your tax return or any of your information so we have no idea why you owe more.  Who says you owe more?  Did you receive a letter from the IRS?  Provide some details.
All items where posted to taxes why do we owe more?
Yup, that fixed it. Sorry I should have noted that year issue myself but I just copied and pasted (like a lemming). Sigh...     Thanks  very much for such prompt and helpful assistance.
I was having this same issue with my 2025 download today. Windows 11 64 bit.  This worked the first time.   Most Excellent!   Thank you, Mark
Many forms are due to be available after January 6 with more to come during the following month.

1. Stick to one discussion thread.  Makes it easier to follow.   2. Give us some more details of your situation and any questions.  There are a number of people here who volunteer and can make suggestions, but we need to know more of the story.   In general, form SS-8 would be used if you are being paid on a 1099-NEC (which would be correct if you are an independent contractor), but you think you should be a regular employee, with withholding and a W-2.   But we need more to go on to help you.
The loan interest is not mortgage interest because it is not secured by the property. You can charge her rent but would have to report that as income.

No, you can’t deduct the interest. The loan would have to be secured by the property.

If Windows desktop TurboTax 2025 has already been installed on Win11 is it safe to then re-install 2024 as well, or will that mess up the 2025 installation/operation?  Asked another way, must individual years be installed in sequence to avoid technical or installation issues? SE

Apparently you have basis in nondeductible traditional IRA contributions.  Until you enter your year-end balance in traditional IRAs, TurboTax assumes that that balance is zero and calculates on Form 8606 an incorrectly high nontaxable amount of the distribution.  Once you enter the correct year-end balance, TurboTax recalculates and produces the correct nontaxable and taxable amounts, appropriately increasing your taxable income.  This increase in ordinary income apparently has also increased the taxable amount of your Social Security income appropriately.   "The amount of income doesn't change"   The amount of taxable income changes when you change the year-end balance entry.  Only with the correct year-end balance entered can TurboTax a correct overall tax liability.  Without the year-end balance entered, the tax liability that TurboTax calculates will be artificially low.
