How can a company as successfule as Intuit also be so successful at pissing off their loyal customers?  Used It's Deducable from it's inception while tolerating Intuits ever increasing price tag for their software.  After the clear outcry from the previous attempt to cancel, an outcry that stopped the cancellation, they turn right around and do the same thing again!  In my book that screams stupidity, ignorance, disloyalty, and a insane effort to lose customers.  Simply idiotic!
where's my amended return says delay but has a 9/3 for completion and just trying to know when to actually be looking for the check to come
Thanks.. I guess I can do fake donations to them in current year and grab them that way. Appreciate the ideas..
I am very sorry that ItsDeductible is being discontinued again.  My question is why could it not wait until December so we could at least finish out the year using what we have already entered?

@user17569929605    Yeah, the only way I see the addresses is if I download the overview files of the actual donations for the current (or prior) year as CSV or HTML  (didn't try PDF).  You can get them that way, but if you haven't donated to a particular charity in your charity list this year, then you don't get it.   So you could get most of them from the main donations downloads....but For the remaining few you may have donated to in prior years but haven't this year, you could just go thru the main Charity list and edit those to get the addresses that way (if not too many are left)....then copy/paste into a notepad for temporary storage or transfer to some other list you are creating.

I would also pay for this tool! It can be an add-on to the software purchase. 👍
You have done it again, cut out one of the best portions of your product. I will be finding new software after many uses of using TurboTax.

College boarding/food etc. are 529 eligible expense but not part of 1098-T, turbo tax is assuming remaining amount is not distribution eligible without asking or documenting. First of all 529 is post tax contribution so will not pay tax again on whole amount but only on gain. Secondly it should ask or document the remaining amount with receipt or something.

I totally agree with your comments.  Why would they discontinue before the end of the  year?  They did this last year and then said they would continue the program.    If they do not want to provide this service, then at least finish out the tax year so we are not in a mess.  Turbo Tax is not what they used to be........

If you need product support and are unable to reach us by phone, you can ask your questions here in the community or you can contact our social media team for assistance. We are on Facebook, X (Twitter) & Instagram (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET from May to Mid-February).    If you have Assist & Review, unfortunately, you need to have a Canadian phone number to get a call or review from a Tax Expert. If you know someone who does have a Canadian number and can transfer the call to you or do a group call, you might be able to get a call/review that way.

I’m very disappointed in your decision. I would pay for this software because it is extremely useful. Please reconsider.   Now that I know there is an alternative out there for tracking charities, HRBlock, it will be much easier to move on.
Why are you doing this again, Intuit?   I would pay for this tool.

I love itsdeductible and sorry to see it go.  (Please bring it back) Thank you for providing relatively easy exports for my data and valuation tables. However I do not see a way to export my Charities with addresses. Am I missing something or am I going to have to do screen captures for all 87 Charities

TurboTax receives no information from the IRS after you file your tax return.  No one at TurboTax knows that your return is under review or why it is under review.   Some reviews are triggered by something on your return; others are random.   TT cannot speed the IRS up for you.   Only the IRS is in control.   You can watch for information on the IRS refund site or call the IRS.   The letter they sent to you should have a number on it that you can use.     Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.     You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds
Thank you!
