Be aware this is a public Internet forum.  You should not post personal info in this user forum.  It looks like the forum privacy filter did remove some of it for your protection.   You can edit your question to remove the rest.  To do that, click the tiny blue 3-dot icon just to the right of your question and choose EDIT.        This is mainly a user community forum--not a direct route to TurboTax Support--so your phone numbers, email addresses, name, address, etc. are not needed here and should not be posted in a public Internet forum.   I'll tell you how to check on your Federal refund.  First, you should check to be sure your return was successfully filed.     If you efiled, double-check to be sure the return was efiled successfully and accepted. If you used Online TurboTax, you can sign into your Online Account and check the efile status at the Tax Home.  If you used desktop software, you can check from within the software. If that showed it was accepted, (or if you mailed a paper return), you can use the "Where's My Refund" tool at the IRS website below to monitor the status of your Federal refund.  https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund See what is displayed there about your refund.  Is there any message?   Here are some tips when using the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool:   Be sure you enter the correct tax year, SSN and filing status. Be sure you are using only the Federal refund amount.   Do not include any state refund or any total refund or net refund (Fed and State) that TurboTax may have provided on a screen.   Look at your actual Federal return to get the Federal refund amount to use in the tool, i.e., your Form 1040, Line 35a. If you also are due a state refund that you haven't received, see this: FAQ:  How do I track my state refund? https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/refund-status/help/how-do-i-track-my-state-refund/00/25571

And here’s some other things to know about filing Separate.  Joint is almost always better.  Here's some things to consider about filing separately……   In the first place you each have to file a separate return, so that's two returns.  And if you are using the Online version that means using 2 accounts and paying the fees twice.  The Desktop CD/Download program would be better to use.   Many people think they come out better when filing Married Filing Separate but they are probably doing it wrong.  If one person itemizes deductions on Schedule A then the other one must itemize too, even if it's less than the standard deduction, even if it is ZERO!  And if you are in a Community Property state it can be complicated to figure out.   And there are several credits you can't take when filing separately, like the EITC Earned Income Tax Credit Child Care Credit Educational Deductions and Credits   And contributions to IRA and ROTH IRA are limited when you file MFS.   Also if you file Married Filing Separately up to 85`% of your Social Security becomes taxable right away even with zero other income.   See ……. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/married/help/is-it-better-for-a-married-couple-to-file-jointly-or-separately/00/25590

On the Federal return, I had originally entered some assets under Investment Expenses. But later deleted them. Smart check for Federal was fine.   Fast forward to the State Return, when I run the smart check, there is an error asking me to "Check This Entry. Misc Itemized Deductions Statement -- Asset Entry Worksheet (Untitled): Description of asset must be entered."   On State Return, under "Investment Assets Summary", I have three "Untitled" assets listed. No option to delete them. Unless I am missing something, I do not see corresponding entries on the Federal side anymore.   How do I fix this issue?   Can I just delete the "Asset Entry (Untitled)" form shown below?

It’s been a whole month since I filed my taxes and I still haven’t received it, so I would like to know when i’m receiving my taxes ?
You can do it. There’s no obligation for your parent to claim you if he doesn’t want to.
FSA contributions are deducted from your paycheck before taxes are calculated, making them tax-free. So the deduction is already accounted for in your W-2.

You don’t pay tax through TurboTax but you pay it directly to the IRS and your state if it has income tax.  https://www.irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employed/estimated-taxes   The income from your conversion is taxed at your marginal tax rate taking into account that your conversion might have pushed you into a higher tax bracket.

@ tony1525 wrote: windows desktop turbotax   premium? when working the "tax screens", i can not read the screen lines asking questions or giving instructions?!? writing is dark and so is the background????? no contrast! So you're using the installed software and not a browser.   I can't duplicate that, and it's not a common complaint, so it's difficult to make a suggestion.  Do you use any unusual display settings, such as for accessibility reasons?  In any case, see if you can make this temporary change to adjust contrast in Windows:   Click the Windows start menu in bottom left corner of your computer screen, then choose Settings. Then in the Settings search bar enter the phrase  high contrast without quotes. Then turn high contrast on. Once on, you can select from several "themes" to see if one helps you. You'll need to undo all that after each use of TurboTax.   Or phone TurboTax Support for assistance so they can talk with you in realtime to see what may be going on:   FAQ: What is the TurboTax phone number? https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/what-is-the-turbotax-phone-number/00/25632
