Hopefully someone from TurboTax is monitoring this and can comment on the problem. I think there may be MANY users out there buying Audit Defense, thinking it is for the statute of limitations for audits, but only have it for one year…
I just completed my 2025 taxes (2024 income) and I run into the same problem.  Is there an answer?

Your employer possibly forgot to enter it, but you can either confirm with your employer or enter the amount in box 211 to avoid the deduction for workers being applied.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax
Just updated the software, deleted the T3 and re-entered the data and there is absolutely no change to the tax return. I believe that the issue is still not resolved.

why would a panel manufacturer have an "energy project"?  That language makes no sense. For that matter if it was broken down to this: "The domestic content bonus credit is available to taxpayers that certify their qualified <energy project > was built with <manufactured products> that were <manufactured >in the United States." This language would suggest taxpayers could take this credit.

I wrote because Turbo Tax seems to have a bug that does not allow it sort out who is eligible for the Circuit Breaker Credit.  Although I was not eligible, I was given the CB Credit (a dollar for dollar reduction in my tax liability), which wiped out my tax due and would  have entitled me to a payment from the state that I did not qualify for.  I tried using the Step by Step questions and the forms to get to back out the credit but the only thing that worked was deleting the rent payments.  Because zeroing out rent did not impact my tax due, I went with it, but it would have been a real problem if I needed the deduction to reduce my taxable income and could not get Turbo Tax to do it without also giving me the Circuit Breaker credit. As I said above, anyone should be able to report their rent payments because they get a deduction that reduces their taxable income, but when rent is entered Turbo Tax looks to see if they meet the age and income criteria for the CB Credit and recalculates the tax due.  Then, eligibility is verified in the Step by Step questions and that's when things go haywire. I think the eligibility questions were changed for 2024 and are less clear and on top of that, Turbo Tax does not produce the right result.

@ gaga542 wrote: The Santa Barbara's customer service line and email is not working either. Why are they involved with my return since I never asked for my refund to be used to pay taxes -which I do not owe any?   Yes I logged into the online IRS tool and they said that they are looking at my return and I might get a partial refund until it is resolved.   This is the worst customer experience that I have had with Intuit over my 35 year history with them   THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE ESCALATED TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT. i THINK THIS IS A SCAM AND THE SECURITY NEEDS TO BE NOTIFED IMMEDIATELY.   "Yes I logged into the online IRS tool and they said that they are looking at my return and I might get a partial refund until it is resolved."   That sounds to me like the IRS is saying you may only get a partial refund until they finish their investigation of whatever caught their attention in your return.    Only the IRS will know what they are doing with your return.  I left info above on how to phone the IRS if you wish to speak to them instead of waiting to see if you get a notice/letter from them.   You previously asked:  "why was that company (SBTPG) involved at all?"   SBTPG comes into play if you chose to pay your TurboTax product fees out of the Federal refund.  If so, TurboTax has to use a third-party company and its bank to take out the product fees.  TurboTax is not a bank so it can't handle the funds itself, so it uses SBTPG.   But from that message you posted from the IRS, it sounds like the holdup is at the IRS.   You said you're having trouble contacting SBTPG.   I don't know any phone trick other than persistence or trying to fool any AI with different keywords or trying to get around it by pressing 0 several times, etc.   However, what do you see when you log in with your information at SBTPG using their refund lookup tool?   Choose the "For Taxpayer's" link at this site: https://www.sbtpg.com/   SBTPG's phone support hours are Mon-Fri 7am - 4pm Pacific https://help.sbtpg.com/hc/en-us/articles/230084587-Contact-information   If you need to speak to TurboTax Support by phone, here's how: FAQ: What is the TurboTax phone number? https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/what-is-the-turbotax-phone-number/00/25632
No, sadly, still waiting.  Amazing nobody from Turbo Tax can comment and help us.

Contributions made to an RRSP that are deductible on your tax return have to be accompanied by an RRSP slip. Sounds like you have a Group Pension plan with your employer and SunLife which is not deductible on your tax return, as the contributions are taken off your paycheck before tax deductions.    Thank you for choosing TurboTax
