Yes, but with a possible caveat for credit. You  will receive an SSA-1099 with the income to include in your taxes. If you were paying taxes on the disability, it must have been pre-tax or employer paid. If you are paying back $3,000 or more that has already been taxed, you can do a claim of right under IRS section 1341. To do this in TurboTax, follow the steps in What is a claim of right?  repayment?

Yes but they are automatic.  The 6,000/12,000 senior deduction will be calculated on 1040 Schedule 1-A page 2 Part V Enhanced Deduction for Seniors which goes to 1040 line 13b. It is separate and in addition to the Standard Deduction or your Itemized Deductions on 1040 line 12e. Turbo Tax automatically includes it if you qualify.   And you also automatically get the Standard Deduction unless your itemized deductions are more.

Yes you can transfer from 2024 on Windows to the Mac.  You need to copy the tax file ending in .tax2024 from the Windows computer.  It should be in your Documents then in a Turbo Tax folder.  Or search  your computer for all files ending in .tax or .tax2024.     How to Transfer into the Mac Desktop program https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/data-systems/transfer-last-year-return-2021-turbotax-software/L0SKCGkzn_US_en_US?uid=ldqe65tw   To Move For Windows…..What I would do on the old computer, is copy the whole Turbo Tax folder that is under your Documents. That should be where the .tax files and pdf files are stored. Also if you haven't done it, I would open each year in the program and save it as a pdf file, go to FILE - SAVE TO PDF so you don't need the program installed to view your return. Copy that folder to a flash drive or best yet is to burn it to a CD or DVD and then you will have a backup of them. Then on the new computer copy the folder (or files) from the flash drive to your Documents folder. You only need the tax return data file ending in .tax2024 to transfer into 2025. You can't transfer the programs. They have to be installed from the CD or Download. You don't need to install older programs unless you need to amend or you didn't save the pdf file. And they only support the last 3 years. If you install an older year you won't be able to update it or download any state programs, so you won't be able to open your return.

Selling precious metals is a capital gain, except that the gain is taxed as ordinary income, you don't get the lower capital gains rates.   Your gain is the difference between your selling price and your purchase price.  If you received the silver as a gift, your cost basis is what the giver paid.  If you inherited the silver, your basis is the fair market value on the day the previous owner died.  If you don't know your basis, make the best effort you can to estimate it and document your reasons.  If you are audited and you can't show a reasonable cost basis, the IRS can assign a basis and recalculate your taxable gain.
