User error on my part. Mailing in 1098-C was not issue, I guess I was overtired working taxes all day. I found the mistake that made TT require I file my complete  return by mail. Thanks!

Go back and edit your W-2; you will need to exit the review section.   Are boxes 19 and 20 blank?   You can leave boxes 18-20 all blank if there is no tax withheld, but if there is tax withheld in box 19, you will need entries in boxes 18 and 20.    To go back to your w-2, search for w-2 and use the jump to link.  Then click edit or the pencil icon next to the w-2 that has the error.

I am trying to help a friend with their taxes and their 1099 NEC from Tik Tok is $100,000 but their 1099K from paypal is for $200, 000, I downloaded the information from PayPal and figured out where all the payments came from that make up the $200, 000 and I still have a huge variance between the two.  Has anyone seen this?  I want to be sure they report the correct income on their return.     Thanks in advance

You're welcome.  It makes sense, and yes, if you know certain things are consistent every month, you can use that method to figure them, with a slight change- figure based on months because the quarter 1 estimate is based on income earned from 1/1-3/31, while quarter 2 is based on income earned from 1/1-5/31, and quarter 3 is based on income earned from 1/1-8/31.     If their income varies, for example if they don't make consistent 401(k) withdrawals, you'll need to be precise and verify the dates they received their income.     Also, you'll be asked for their adjusted gross income for each period, so that will be the total of all the income that is reported on their 1040, line 11 (don't deduct the standard deduction).  You'll next be asked about the capital gain, if the home was the only capital gain, you'll not enter anything there, and the amount will be assigned to quarter 4.   You will not be asked to enter the standard deduction, it's automatically added to the penalty form (Form 2210)  page 3, line 7.
No, it should not raise any red flags for being out of sequence.

I am not sure what version of TurboTax you are using but maybe some of these suggestions that I found will help or you can contact TurboTax Customer Service using this link:  Turbo Tax Customer Service   You can try: Log in to your online account. As you When you log in, you may get a notification that you have a message and you will be able to click to view. Or you can look for a box in the upper right that says Expert Help and click. Look for your contact history and click, and it should show you your messages. Also,, the tax expert's message can be accessed anytime via the floating Live help button in the bottom right corner of any TurboTax Live screen. Select See my Contact History to find your written response. Also, there will be a notification icon at the top right on your screen.  Click on that to open the message.

According to this FTB webpage:   California driver's license or state ID card information is not required to e-file a California tax return. However, this may expedite the processing of your return and we ask for your assistance to help us combat ID theft.  
It is entered in the Investment Sales section.  Where do I enter investment sales?    
You won't enter a state if it is a foreign address. Select foreign address and enter the information. It is just the zip code that needs to be 00000. I love your username! @sheHuLK

I am almost done with my tax and am at Review/Audit Protection phase. I WANT to buy the Audit Protection and I want pay the fee with my credit card. (Because I won't have any refund, that's the only option).   But when I click "Charge My Credit Card" button in "How would you like to pay for Audit Defense?", it immediately shows an error screen that says:    We noticed your payment didn't go through. Select Continue to select payment method. You will have the option to choose credit card again.   This is very strange because I wasn't given any opportunity to enter my credit card information. When I select "Continue", it just show the "How would you like to pay..." screen.    I'm in the indefinite loop. How can this situation be fixed?    I am using the desk top version, so I cannot clear the cache, as suggested to a similar question for the web version.

Form 1098-E (student loan interest) Form 1099-Q (distribution from an education savings account) Form 1098-T (tuition statement)  are all entered in the Education Section located under Deductions & Credits   Some of the entries in this section may result in taxable income, rather than a deduction or credit. The forms can work along with and then again also against one-another in regard to applying for an education credit.  It can be a complicated issue and I think everything is condensed in this one section to encourage that all the information is entered so that the program can make a suggestion on the best way to report expenses, financial aid, and possible credits.

You must file Form IT-203 if you meet any of the following conditions: You have income from a New York State source (see Nonresidents: New York source income) and your New York adjusted gross income (Federal amount column) is more than your New York State standard deduction. Complete Form IT-203, lines 1 through 31 and compare the line 31 Federal amount to your standard deduction from the New York State standard deduction table. You want to claim a refund of any New York State, New York City, or Yonkers income taxes withheld from your pay or from your unemployment insurance benefit payments.
