I agree with the comment from dkealey above. In addition if you have a T-Slip with an amount in Box 21, you must also enter an amount in TurboTax Box 53 even if your T-Slip does not show an amount in this box. This allowed me to get rid of all errors and continue to Netfile.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.   Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?

Please be more specific.    What state do you live in?  What state did you work in?    Some states have reciprocal agreements.  There are also some states with no state income tax.  We need to know which two states are involved.   In general, if you live in a state with a state income tax and work in another state with a state income tax, you need to file a non-resident tax return for the state you work in and a resident tax return for the state you live in.      No---there is not just a "general understanding" of your situation by the IRS or the states.     No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/contact-turbotax/L2y9ZKpQB_US_en_US?uid=m5s9l2vh     STATES WITH RECIPROCAL AGREEMENTS https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/state-taxes/states-reciprocal-agreements/L4JKSLqpR_US_en_US?uid=m6k6bgwh     States with no state income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming

I filed for both state and federal returns at the beginning of March and already received my federal return around March 23rd. I haven't receieved my state return, though, and can't find a way to track it. When should I receive my state return? (It was listed as "accepted" on the same day my federal return was.)

TurboTax does not get any information from the IRS after you file your tax return, so no one at TT knows about a notice that was sent to you by the IRS.  TurboTax cannot intercede with the IRS for you.   Provide some information here---what is the letter number on the notice?  What does it say?   Do not include any personal information in the user forum like your name or SSN.
Here is a FAQ tells you about deactivating an EIN with the IRS: If you no longer need your EIN | Internal Revenue Service

If a youth makes less then the basic personal amount, they are not required to file taxes.   This info was found from two different websites, including turbo tax.  My dependent was not charged income tax so there would be no refund either.   They were not qualified to get the free version because they had a T5 as they have a savings account and earned interest.    Why would they pay to file taxes?    There is zero requirement and zero benefit.     I also wasn't trying to claim them as a dependant.  I knew we didn't qualify for that.  I was following the "recommended" steps and couldn’t get past that step unless I lied or did their taxes.   If I knew that I could enter the info straight from the T4, then I would have done that but they were asking for a line number from the T1.  That other information would have been helpful.  But neither of the support people suggested that.

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.  “21 days”  is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.      First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.   You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds   To track your state refund:     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_US_en_US?uid=lt447ebr   If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/refunds-take-longer-others/L14YlqFrH_US_en_US?uid=lexdr7zh . https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/irs-refund-taking-longer-21-days/L2vRAJbdU_US_en_US?uid=lexe7lst
