Your best option is to 1) delete the 1099-R entries that are tagged as needing review and 2) refresh your TurboTax installation.   For more help, please see:  How do I view and delete forms in TurboTax Online? How do I delete a tax form in TurboTax Desktop?   If you're using TurboTax Online, log out of TurboTax, refresh your browser, and clear your cookies and cache. Then restart your browser and log into TurboTax again. Or try a different browser.    See:  How do I delete cookies? How to clear your cache If you're using TurboTax Desktop, save your return and close the program. Restart your computer and open TurboTax. Be sure to accept any updates that are suggested.   At this point, re-enter the 1099-Rs and follow the specific instructions previously provided by dmertz. Take your time and read each page, even though you may be very familiar with the interview screens. You might try entering the forms one at a time and run Smart Check (under Final Review) to be sure the entry is accepted before you enter another 1099-R.

The deduction will not register unless TurboTax knows which business "established" the plan.  1.Navigate to Federal > Deductions & Credits > Medical > Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A). 2.Enter your 1095-A details exactly as they appear. 3.Look for the screen titled "Let us know if these situations apply to you" or similar. 4.Check the box "I'm self-employed and bought a Marketplace plan". 5.Select your S Corp (K-1) from the list of businesses that appears on the next screen.   Next, check your K-1 entry: 1.Update your K-1 and proceed to the "Other Situations" screen. 2. Check the box "I personally paid health insurance and/or long-term care insurance premiums for myself and my family and this S corporation paid me wages". 3. On the next screen, enter your Medicare Wages (Box 5 of your W-2) and the total Health Insurance Premiums paid.  If the premiums were already entered in the 1095-A section, do not re-enter them in the business expense section of the K-1, or you may double-count them. The link in Step 1 should pull the data automatically.

I understand that the SALT deduction is maxing out at $600k of income so you can only deduct 10k and our income was under $500k but in the review at the end, there is an "other income" listed that takes the income to $600k which includes "interests and dividends" (makes sense)  but also counting qualified 529 distributions. All the distributions were used for education expenses for our son so I did not think they would be count as income? Or does the MAGI count those as income?
