In TurboTax Desktop: select federal taxes Select Wages & Income Select I'll choose what I work on Select IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) under Retirement Plans and Social Security On the Your 1099-R summary screen, select the blue button with that says Add another 109-R.

 You will go to MY INFO and go through the interview questions to the one that asks if someone else can claim you as a dependent.  Say YES.

I just found a way to work around this error message. Go to Tools on the lower-left side of the screen > click Tools > select Forms > then choose Tuition/School Form. Once you complete this step, you should be able to submit your taxes.
I have tried changing the spelling, clearing the cache, using different computers, different browsers. I don't know what else to do.

Beware of these types of text messages as they could be a scam. The safe way to verify the status of your return, is log in directly to your TurboTax account. Follow these steps: How do I check my e-file status? Try entering "0" for the AGI and refile.   How do I fix e-file reject IND-031-04 or IND-032-04?   @estegodden
