I was trying to apply for Flex Loans. But once I got to the part to upload my last year tax return, a message came up saying can't upload. Is there another way to do it?

2024 Kansas State Refund is greater than the amount of Tax Paid. I see the calculation is using a non-refundable tax credit. Based on the research I conducted when investigating this situation, a Tax Refund can be greater than Tax Paid when a Refundable Tax Credit is being applied. A Non-Refundable Tax Credit can be applied to only reduce the tax liability to zero and cannot generate a refund. When I started trying to find the basis for my Kansas State Tax Refund, I saw the Tax Credit being used was labeled "non-refundable. Now I'm going back into my Tax Return to find it again as I didn't screen print or save it off. However, since I had just completed researching whether a Tax Refund greater than the Tax Paid is valid. The "non-refundable" Tax Credit was still resonating in my head. I just to look it up again for sanity sake.

Why don't you just buy it from Amazon? They're cheaper at the moment than direct from Intuit. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=turbotax&crid=CJHDK879HFHT&sprefix=turbotax%2Caps%2C120&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

I have just attempted to purchase Desktop 2025. When entering the credit card information, the month dropdown does not populate the field. Year works, other fields work. Just not the month field. I find the Turbotax website in general to be cluttered and clunky. It is definitely not a streamlined experience at all. You really need some improvements to the website and purchasing experience.

You can buy the Desktop Download program here or in stores or online like Amazon, Costco, etc. https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download You need a full Windows 11 or Mac OS Sonoma 14 computer to install it.

I think it would be worth your while to contact Mass DOR and / or a tax professional. Note the statement:
"Please also note that for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2024, married couples must file a joint Massachusetts return if they filed a joint federal income tax return, unless one of the spouses wasn’t required to file a Massachusetts return because their Massachusetts gross income was $8,000 or less. The Department of Revenue will issue guidance providing for an exemption from the requirement or an adjustment in some cases where one or both spouses is a nonresident."
Unless you yourself have MA-source income, it seems unlikely that you would be required to file a MA tax return at all.
Note: I am neither a lawyer nor a tax professional..

It's not clear what you mean by "amended my mistake." Did you actually file an amended tax return, Form 1040-X? Just making the changes in TurboTax doesn't do anything. You have to send the Form 1040-X to the IRS. Depending on when you did it, you might have been able to e-file the amended tax return. Otherwise you have to mail it to the IRS.
