The safe harbor covers all items $2,500 or less. You can't pick and choose once you make the election.

Is there any message there? You didn't mention anything about your Federal return. Has the Federal return already been filed? If so, is the Federal status "pending" or "accepted?" (you can check at the Tax Home) If you already efiled the Federal return by itself, a state return cannot be efiled until the Federal return has been accepted. Or here's another possibility. This time of year some states may have forms that are not yet finalized and available. What state is it?

When you go to the link below, instead of using email address try running the tool on the phone number you can access. If that's unsuccessful, I've also provided a "Try Something Else" method. NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop. Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below. You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session. https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery If still no luck after running that tool on your phone number that you can still access, here's another method: Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, scroll down a bit, then choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by other parameters.

Where do I find the no tax on tips deduction? On my w2 it says total income + tips and has the total number and my employer didn’t input the tips into box 7, but on my pay stub they show as tips. Not service charges, but voluntary tips. I qualify for the full $25,000 deduction but how do I find that in the app??! I don’t want to have to ask my employer for them to redo my w2. Thanks!

TurboTax knows nothing about the status of your refund, nor does it get your refund to take out its fees and any advance you received. Your refund goes to a third-party bank to be split between you and TurboTax. It is then supposed to forward on your portion based on your directions for deposit.
If you made a mistake on your routing or account number, the deposit was rejected, Cross River would receive it back and an paper check would be mailed to you.
Try calling Intuit using this number, 800-335-9612, and see if they can help you.
