What is a "qualifying person" for Head of Household?
If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your marital status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.

@brenick1 Huh? I bought my Windows Home & Business program from Costco online on 12/1/25. When I finally got the Software Activation Keys email (email took an hour) I clicked on Download link. It took me directly to Turbo Tax to download. Had to pick my product then select Win or Mac. Program downloaded. Check back though your emails and the junk or spam folder. Here's my email. Downloaded, installed and updated TurboTax Home and Business 2025 for desktop, yesterday. Today, got my W2s and 1099s entered. Printed out drafts only to find out that the 2025 forms still say 2024. Almost all forms are affected: W3, W2, & 1096. Only the 1099-misc and 1099-nec actually say tax year 2025. Is there an expected update to fix this? If so, when?
