To confirm your scheduled Indiana tax payment, you should check your Filing Instructions or the State Information Worksheet within TurboTax, or use the official Indiana INTIME portal for external verification.
In TurboTax
Sign in and scroll to "Your tax returns & documents".
Select "Add a State" (this is a "backdoor" to re-open your return without adding a new one).
Go to Tax Tools > Print Center and select "Print, save or preview this year’s return".
Look for the "Electronic Filing Instructions for your Indiana Tax Return".
Your scheduled payment date will be listed at the top under "Date of Withdrawal" or in the "Balance Due" section.
Alternatively, find the "State Information Worksheet"; the payment method and date are usually in Part V or Part VI.
You can also verify the status directly with the Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) using their INTIME portal:
Visit the INTIME landing page, locate the "Payments" tile, and click "Check Your Payment Status".
You will need the confirmation code from your filing and the email address used.
If you have an account, go to the "All Actions" tab, find "Submissions," and look in the "Pending" tab to see scheduled payments.

The culprit is often a cluttered or "broken" cache. Since these temporary files can interfere with how the software loads, cleaning them out usually fixes the issue.
If you are using the web-based version, try these three troubleshooting methods:
Clear out your stored cache and cookies
Use an Incognito or Private window
Try logging in through a different web browser (for example, moving from Chrome to Firefox or Edge)
If you need extra time, filing an extension by April 15, 2026, moves your submission deadline to October 15. But remember any taxes owed are still due in full by the original April 15 date.

If you entered all the Box 12 info from your W-2, it shows you have an HSA. Unless you actually received a 1099-SA form (you took a distribution from your HSA), skip that and Continue in the section. You'll enter info about your HDHP insurance, and any contributions you made personally (not through your employer).

Today's date 04/15/2026 is already entered and it will not allow me to change it even if I wanted to.

The 1099-SA is for reporting distributions from your HSA. Employer contributions will be on box 12 of your W-2 with the code W.

Are you asking about a tax penalty on 1040 line 38? It is not about 2024 or not paying estimates. And the penalty is just an estimate so it is possible for the IRS to recalculate it and send you a refund or a bill for more. If you get a penalty on 1040 line 38, you might be able to eliminate it or at least reduce it. You can go to Federal Taxes tab or Personal tab, under Other Tax Situations and select Start by the Underpayment Penalties. You will answer a series of questions that may reduce or eliminate the penalty. Or you can elect to have the IRS figure the penalty for you. It's form 2210.
