I don’t know what a 1095 form is

The 1040X first column shows what you filed originally. When you file an amended tax return, you do not include the original 1040 but you do include any other forms or schedules that were changed.

What you can do is notify the beneficiaries that they will no longer be receiving K-1s from the estate (i.e., that it is closed, has been terminated and making the final distribution). Then, you can file a 1041 for the estate marked as final without issuing K-1s. The estate gets a $600 exemption so there will be no tax due, but the estate will have officially filed its final 1041.

This article will help you download any data you had in ItsDeductible (if used previously or during the year before it was shut down in October).
There will be a new tool that replaces ItsDeductible and its expected to be available the end of February or beginning of March. This is just an estimate and I would assume we will find out more as time goes on. At this time, this is all the information we were given.

Sold a rental property in 2025 and have been waiting for the "sold rental property" section to be available. It looks like most forms were made available yesterday but still getting "Depreciation and Amortization will be ready by February, but likely sooner" under the "sold rental property" section. Anyone know which form this is referencing, this is the only rental property I have ever sold so not sure which form its still waiting on. The learn more isn't very helpful in determining that either.

I called a local branch and they transferred me to tech support. The woman that I spoke to said they are aware, and that they are hoping to have the issue resolved by 1/26. RIDICULOUS! If it's not resolved by then, I'm going elsewhere, and I will NEVER use TurboTax again. It's ridiculous that this hasn't been done when every other company has completed it. It's ridiculous that they keep saying that they're waiting on the IRS; it's just an excuse. It's ridiculous that they make it so difficult to get an answer to a general question (especially when the question is due to their incompetence) unless you pay to speak to an "expert".

@mark_van the offer is to switch from desktop to ONLINE PREMIUM with FED + STATE (not sure all the fine print on fees). To get this offer believe you have to purchase desktop license and when you try and install it on Win 10 you will get screen below and can switch - not sure if there is a different way to trigger the offer. Note Online is not the same as Desktop in particular there is no forms mode and you can only file one return per account and normally it's more expensive than Desktop. If you are in charge of filling their income tax return, you can file a joint tax return for the year using the filing status “Married Filing Jointly”.
If you are using TurboTax Online, go to My Info section. After entering their personal information, you will see a screen titled "Let's check for some other situations" and check the box "I'm preparing this return for (name) who passed away."
If you are using TurboTax Desktop after putting their personal information, you will see the screen "Do any of these apply to (name)" and check the box "Passed away before filing this return."
You must also sign the return as the personal representative and, if you are requesting a refund, you may need to attach Form 1310.
If you need assistance preparing and filing a return for a deceased person, see the link below:

Since you don’t have access to their phone numbers or e-mail accounts, you will need to create a new account. In case you need a tax expert, select the option “I just want a tax expert to handle everything for me”, following the instructions on the next link:
Full Service
Depending on your specific tax situation, TurboTax Full Service provides different prices options. On the following link there’s a section that is labeled “Find my Price”. Check the boxes for the document that you have and the service that you are seeking.

If all of your hours are paid straight time, the "No Tax on Overtime" deduction does not apply to you.
However, as an hourly worker, if you get straight time pay and work excess hours over 40 per week, you should have a discussion with your employer. An exception to this is salaried employees.
