Support recommended to uninstall and reinstall desktop version and online versions from both my laptop and desktop.  I started the online version and then switched to the desktop version that was completed. This  a possible solution  to remove a duplicate transmission of my tax files that prevented my tax refund to send to the IRS. I removed the Turbotax desktop version from my windows 11 laptop but could not from my windows 10 pc. because version 2025 was not listed in programs.  In short, HOW TO REMOVE ALL MY UNCOMPLETED TURBOTAX  ONLINE FILES FROM MY DESKTOP PC so I can reinstall turbotax 2025.

Any tips you receive as a self-employed taxpayer are part of your gross receipts and are considered taxable income to you.   Per the IRS, that income is subject to both income and self-employment tax.      Here is a list of self-employment expenses you can deduct.   You cannot deduct income, only expenses.      IRS Pub 334 - Tax Guide for Small Businesses.  See Chapter 5. Schedule C instructions - See Line 1 - gross receipts.     @bleo1017

So I'm self employed AND drawing social security. My health insurance premiums are shown on my SSA-1099 and ultimately go to Schedule A and I don't get the deduction because of the standard deduction. If I enter the medicare insurance premiums paid under the self employed health insurance worksheet then they show up in 2 places. My question is how do I get the deduction and still fill out the SSSA-1099 worksheet properly?
I have submitted my taxes by e-file, and the IRS has not accepted them yet. It has been 24 hours, and what could be taking so long?

I'm going to bow out of this conversation except to say:   Option 2 violates the regulations.  The regulations say that if an RMD is required, the first money to come out of the account is the RMD.  That means the first transaction is a "failed rollover" and the money is taxable etc.   If you don't like the law, you need to get Congress to change it.  If you think the regulations interpret the law incorrectly, you can sue the IRS, or pay a minimum of $10,000 for a private letter ruling.   As a practical matter, you are correct that everything that happens in a single tax year is reported at the same time, and it would be difficult for the IRS to catch you performing option 2.  And even if they catch you, the examiner might recognize your argument and use their discretion to overlook it.
Yes, defaulting this to a "1" should clear the error and not impact your return.

Rejection was for federal TIN.  All are exactly the same as last year's return and match the 1099R's I received this year.

Sorry to tell you, but the issue is not fixed.  Form 8825 does not print.  I can force it to display in Adobe Acrobat, but that is not the preferred PDF viewer.  But that inconvenience aside, I cannot print from Adobe Acrobat either.  I have to print to a PDF file, then print the resulting PDF.  It's very herky jerky and an unnecessary nuisance in the middle of tax season.  Please look into this again.

OK, thanks 1099SA #1--This one was handled correctly.  All distributions used for medical expenses. Box 1--$1121.57 Box 2--0.00 Box 3-- 1   1099SA #2--This is the problem child Box 1--$4372.93 Box 2-- $60.95 Box 3-- 2   My two distributions related to 1099SA #2 $3353 March 2025 + $51 earnings (estimated--see below) $1020 December 2025 + $10 earnings (estimated--see below) Here's something that may be significant.  When I get to the interview question "Enter last year's excess contribution" it says I can find that on line 48 of my 2024 Form 5329.  But my 2024 return does not have a Form 5329!   It has Schedule 1 showing $3292 on line 8f and $1660 (gambling winnings) on line 8b and the total transferred correctly to line 8 on my Form 1040.  To the interview question above, I tried inputting zero, then my estimated excess of $3353 and ran it again.  See the results:                                                                                                    Input $0                              Input $3353 Deduction                                                                              $0                                         $3353 Total Distribution                                                                  $5495                                  $5495 Taxable distributions                                                            $0                                         $0 Taxable earnings on excess contributions                       $61                                       $61 Tax-Free employer contributions                                       $1020                                  $1020 Excess employer contributions withdrawn                      $0                                         $0   Either scenario shows no taxable distributions.  I should be paying taxes on $1081 (excess + earnings) on my 2025 return, correct?
If it is the same type of investment and in the same holding period, try to combine the investments if both are either long-term or short term gains.
@glevin927 Gifts given are not reported on a tax return, nor are gifts received.  If the gift given was $19,000 or less you do not have to report the gift given on an IRS Form 709.

Gifts given to family members, friends or other individuals are not deductible.   Gifts received are not taxable to the person who received the gift, and are not entered on a tax return.   If your gift exceeds the yearly limit ($19,000 per individual)  imposed by the gift tax rules, then you will need to complete a Form 709 gift tax form and send it to the IRS, although it is very unlikely that you will owe any tax.   TurboTax does not support Form 709.  It is not an income tax form and would not be included as part of an income tax return.   Here is a link to the form: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f709.pdf   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/estates/the-gift-tax-made-simple/L5tGWVC8N     Here's a link for Form 709 preparation software:  https://www.puritas-springs.com/product-category/federal   Here are some useful videos on the Form:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5wJow5h-No   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z_28sVOrTY

When your did your state taxes, did you do your non-resident return(s) before your WI resident return?  If not, you may want to go back and delete your WI return (click the trashcan icon in Prepare States in the online version.  If using the desktop version, go to State Taxes, then click File, then Remove State in the dropdown.  Click on WI, then click Remove).   Once the non-resident returns are completed, go back and work on the WI return.  Once you get to Summary of Schedule(s) OS, click Edit on Copy Number 1 - this will allow you to view the information that will appear on Schedule OS.  When I did this on a mock return, this form was already prepopulated with all the information on the other state.  Schedule OS showed up in Forms view (on desktop) with the correct tax credit for the income taxed in another state and the credit flowed to line 20 on Form 1.

It is understandable to want this corrected asap.    Although the IRS does recommend waiting until your original return has been processed, you can choose to file your amended return sooner, and definitely before April 15th, to potentially avoid additional penalties.   Since the Form 1040X is not yet available through TurboTax, you can choose to wait until it is, which currently is scheduled for February 25th, or download a Form 1040X and mail it in.    However, an e-filed amended return will be processed faster than a mailed amended return.   TurboTax does have an Accuracy Guarantee. Here is a link to submit a claim.
