Yes, you can still deduct those points. It is  common for a loan to be sold after closing, and the new lender’s Form 1098 usually won't show the points paid to the original lender.   You can enter this manually in the 1098 Section (Deductions & Credits > Deductions & Credits Summary > Your Home > Mortgage Interest Form 1098). After you enter the 1098 info, continue through the interview. You will be asked if you paid points, answer that you did, and then you can indicate that the points only appear on your Closing Disclosure or HUD-1.   If you need extra time, filing an extension by April 15, 2026, moves your submission deadline to October 15. But remember any taxes owed are still due in full by the original April 15 date.

The MAGI is a built-in calculation that cannot be manually modified.   I would suggest taking a look at Form 1040 to see if there may be an item of income that is being reported incorrectly.  Occasionally, this can happen if decimals are in the wrong spot or when items are imported and the file isn't read properly.   To preview the form 1040, click Tools in the menu bar on the left and then Tax Tools.   Next, select "View Tacx Summary".  After you see the tax summary return to the menu bar on the left and select "Preview my 1040".
You can access your 1095-a online through healthcare.gov or call their customer service number which you can find here: Contact us.
