I work part time and received a W2 but I can't fegure out how to enter my SSA-1099
Ran update (several times) and it claims I am up to date. Form 5695 stills shows pending, however TT sent email claiming form is ready. Does anyone else show this form ready?

Did you by any chance efile the Federal return separately prior to the state return?   If so,  has it been accepted?    If a Federal return is efiled first, you will have to wait for the Federal return to be accepted before you can then efile a state return by itself.   Did you get any error message? Go through the REVIEW tab to see if it provides a clue.   The Forms Availability tool linked below shows the Rhode Island forms are ready, except for a small few that are unsupported for efile.   Select your state there, and look at the list to see if any are your return. Thank you for your reply, however, your method did not work entirely. After searching around the very confusing TT UI I was able to clear the online form, however, I was unable to delete the entire online experience. Seems that's not possible. The one overriding observation is the TT UI is, to put it mildly, is not user friendly. It took me probably 30+ mins of going thru the different screen to find what I wanted.

Just discovered the update is accessible in forms mode, but interview mode is still oblivious to the update. Switched to form mode, completed energy entries and then returned to interview mode for the rest of the return.  It’s that TurboTax commitment to quality coding.  Really makes you wonder what else they missed.

Wait until your original return has been fully processed before you amend, and make sure you have saved a pdf of the original return before you amend. (If you do not save it as a pdf, the amended return will overwrite the original, and the original will be lost forever)   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-already-filed/L4VjJ9BA2_US_en_US?uid=m76mq6z2       Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.     You can watch for information here: https://www.irs.gov/filing/wheres-my-amended-return       The person who you claimed incorrectly for 2024 does not have to wait for you to amend.   What she has to do is file her own 2024 return by mail and say on her return that she cannot be claimed as someone else's dependent.  Waiting for you will not help her.  She could have mailed her 2024 return months ago when it rejected.
I need to remove a dependant that I claimed last year in 2024 so she can file her tax return for 2024 and 2025 I received $500 last year when I had claimed her as a dependent
