Hello,   My wife's employer included all of her tips in box 1. Nothing in boxes 7 or 8. They sent us a separate letter telling us that she had over $19,000 in tips eligible for the new deduction, but I can't find anywhere to enter that. Again, these are not unreported tips, and I can confirm they are definitely included in the box 1 amount.
When today (it is now January 21) will this be available? I have been ready to file with the exception of this section all month.

We cannot see your screen, your return or your account.  Have you entered ALL of your 2025 information?  All your income, etc.?  Many tax documents that you need do not arrive until late January or even February, so maybe you do not have it all there yet.   There are a lot of variables that affect your refund or tax due including how much you earned, how much tax you had withheld, your filing status, the number of dependents you claim, your deductions and credits, etc.  You may have lost Earned Income Credit or the Child Tax Credit— did a child turn 17?  If you received the EIC last year, remember that changes in the amount you earn have a big effect on the amount of EIC you can get. (Sometimes earning more money means less EIC)  Are you 65 or older ?  If so, your standard deduction is higher. Everyone has a higher standard deduction now so it is harder to use itemized deductions.   And of course, always check your own data entries, looking for errors such as misplaced decimals or extra zeros.   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/refund-go-compared-last-year/L97JmhUbi_US_en_US?uid=ld9ijm41   Print out 2024  and 2025  and compare them side by side to see what is different.    https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/tax-payments/video-why-would-i-owe-federal-taxes/L3VXudPiN

@jtalley22  said "TurboTax is only giving me $1,983 in EITC, which is the amount for a person with no children"   That's not correct.  Th maximum a person with no children can get is $649.   The fact that TT is giving you $1983 may indicate your issue is not with you child qualifying but with adjustments to you income  or how you entered.    What makes you think you should be getting $4000? The earned income credit is first calculated (actually looked up in a table) on your earned income then it is calculated on your total income (AGI). You get the lesser of the two calculated EIC numbers. See the 2025 EIC table at page 49 at: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040gi.pdf   See Schedule EIC and the EIC worksheet in TurboTax.

Well here we are at the 21st and still no support for Pensions. Been using Turbo Tax for more than 10 years, but apparently it is time to move on. Intuit needs to understand that we use TurboTax not just for filing, but for planning refunds or taxes owed. This generally starts in December for me. Very frustrated and unhappy with Intuit. Give me what you have; even if you can't let me file. How hard is it to just let me enter a 1099R and estimate what my taxes are?
I had the same issue and attempted to delete many (many, many) times. It would continually re-add. TurboTax apparently figured out yesterday about this glitch so hopefully it will be fixed soon!

As Xmasbaby0 stated, the IRS is not accepting 2025 tax returns until January 26th, 2026. You will have to wait to see if the file was accepted or rejected.   If your return is rejected, you can go directly back in and make changes.  If it is accepted, follow these steps: On the Tax Home screen,  Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and  Select the Amend (change) return dropdown,  Then Amend using TurboTax Online. (If you're told to amend your return via TurboTax Desktop, follow the steps for TurboTax Desktop instead.) Continue through the screens, make the changes you need to make, and carefully answer the remaining questions to finish amending your return. Amend current taxes 2025  How do I amend my federal tax return for a prior year?

Come back on Friday at try again at that time.   I aways add a day or two to whatever date TTX "Claims"  (i.e. it's still 21 Jan at 11:59PM...which is absolutely useless for most users)

If you already paid your fees, you cannot "clear and start over"-----but you can get back in to the program to make changes or add information if you have not e-filed.   If you have not e-filed, click Add a State---that trick will allow you back in---you do not really have to add a state return, but that will get you into your return.   If you already e-filed, you cannot make any changes at this time.  You have to wait to see if the return is accepted or rejected;  if rejected, you can make changes.  If accepted, you have to wait for it to be fully processed to amend later in February.
I have deleted him and re-added him twice now to make sure I didn't miss anything or answer incorrectly. I really don't understand why its not reflecting correctly.
