Some of our customers are experiencing issues when trying to file and pay with their refund.  We are investigating this issue.  However, if you would prefer to file now, you can do so by switching to pay your TurboTax fees with a credit card instead of using the pay with my refund option by following these steps.   If TurboTax is not letting you submit your payment and continue on to e-file, here are a few additional things you can try:    Log out of your TurboTax program, close the browser completely and then log back in. Temporarily turn off your firewall or anti-virus software that may block the transmission. If you are logged in multiple times on different computers, make sure you are only logged in in one place. Try using a different browser. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Restart your computer in case there are lingering software conflicts. Try using an incognito or private window to sign in to bypass any cached issues. Make sure you have run all updates if you are using a desktop version of TurboTax. To do this, you can click on "Online" in the black bar across your TurboTax screen and select "Check for Updates". Please return to Community if you have any additional information or questions and we would be happy to help.

Yes, it's poorly worded.  They are working on that section of the program. It's not clear if that particular question will be fixed.   "Is the recipient of the distribution the designated beneficiary?" Appears to be the category. and "Recipient is not designated beneficiary" is the actual question.

I bought desktop Mac Turbotax 2025 from Amazon and thought I registered it with when I downloaded a copy using the Amazon Activation code. I had bought desktop Turbotax for the last few years and assumed the Amazon registration process would register it with Turbotax. I was able to enter data from Turbotax 2024, but when I tried to download investment income I could not download any. A call to Turbotax support revealed that the 2025 Turbotax I bought and paid for had not been registered with Turbotax. Apparently the Amazon registration did not register my 2025 edition of with Turbotax -- perhaps because I had not bought previous editions from Amazon and treated me like a new Turbotax customer. How can I combine the two accounts? They both use the same email, but do not have the same password and probably do not have the same phone.

You can find your 20-digit federal submission ID in TurboTax as follows:    1.  Check your e-file confirmation email. TurboTax sends two main emails to confirm your e-file: first, a notification that your return was submitted/transmitted, and second, a confirmation once the IRS (or state) has officially accepted or rejected it, usually within 24–48 hours.    2.  View the "Electronic Filing Status" in your TurboTax software. You can check your TurboTax electronic filing (e-file) status by signing into your TurboTax account and viewing your home screen, which shows your status (pending, accepted, or rejected) within 24-48 hours. For desktop users, navigate to the "File" menu and select "Electronic Filing" to see the status history.   3.  If you are using TurboTax Online, use the Print Center to view the Federal Information Worksheet   4.  You can call TurboTax support. You can contact TurboTax Customer Service using this link: Turbo Tax Customer Service or you can call us at 800-446-8848.

Wondering if this is a software issue, have tried a few different browsers along with the mobile app with the same result. I have three to add and cannot seem to get more than one loaded in.

Why did I spend 193 USD for tax software that cannot handle a standard 1099-R? This is pathetic.
I paid estimated taxes for 2025. Where do I enter them in TurboTax?
