No, TurboTax cannot send the documents for you.   TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return.   No one at TT knows what your letter from the IRS is asking you for.   You have to read that letter carefully yourself and gather up the documents the IRS has requested.   You can seek W-2's from employers; various kinds of 1099's come from banks or financial institutions, or maybe from a person or business you worked for that issued a 1099NEC.   It is up to you to get those documents.   TurboTax does not have your documents.

Follow the instructions in the link below to obtain the necessary TurboTax Desktop products (2024 and 2023).   The amendment can be completed using the steps below and if necessary you can use the IRS transcript for your original 2023 or 2024 tax return. How do I amend a tax return for a prior year? To file a new prior-year return for tax year 2024, 2023, or 2022, you'll need to purchase and download that year's TurboTax software for PC or Mac, as TurboTax Online and the mobile app are only available for the current tax year. See additional information in the link below. How do I file a 2024, 2023 or 2022 tax return? @arabrasha
Is there a way to look up all my asked questions?

You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it.  It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner.  The IRS does not allow you to take it back.   If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.”  The changes will go nowhere.   Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return.  If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.     If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund.  THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail  it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally.  You will need to use a form called a 1040X.     Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself.  Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed   The Form 1040X is scheduled to be available on February 19.   The date is subject to change, so check on 2-19 to see if it is ready.   Before that, do not change anything at all on your return.

1. I amended my 2022 return to correct foreign taxes paid/foreign income from investment income. The IRS owed me a small sum as a result of the correction (say $150 as an example). I never received direct payment from them. The following year on my 2023 return I noticed that $150 was compensated to me in form 1116 (seen in the worksheet) in the foreign tax paid carryover calculation from 2022, as an increase in credit utilised. Is that correct? Shouldn't it have been a decrease in credit utilised?  2.  If I have to amend 2022 one more time, because the amount of foreign income was still not correct on the amended 2022 return, this is going to register as a payment that I now owe the IRS. But seeing that these figures are dealt with only on form 1116 as relates to carryover foreign tax credit, should I avoid sending off a check to the IRS and just wait for it to sort itself out in form 1116?
