If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.
To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:
Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL.
Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu.
Toggle the switch to ON.
Refresh the page and attempt your import again.
If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:
Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements.
Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.
Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

For W-2 Box 14 entry OBBBTT (Qualified Overtime Compensation), select the "Other" or "Other - not listed" category in your tax software, as it is a new 2025 code for specific overtime reporting. It represents the premium portion of overtime pay and does not typically change your taxable wages
TurboTax will automatically calculate the overtime deduction for you based on the amount in box 14.

Yes!! This is so frustrating! One of the main reasons I purchase TurboTax is the importing of brokerage statements. I read a thread on another site saying this is not TurboTax issue, but I have found other posts indicating the trouble is widespread across many financial institutions. The answer is always to manually enter the information (and then the forms have to be MAILED to the IRS). Is TurboTax going to fix this problem or is the only solution going to be manual entry? Not what I paid for when I purchased TurboTax. - When I try to import from LPL Financial, it opens a browser window, connects after given the acct number and document code, then says "Connection Complete. Success! We got your tax data. You can now return to TurboTax" Returning to TurboTax takes me to the Import screen I started with and just loops into the same process with no import of data and no indication there is data anywhere... Frustrating!

That sounds odd. Can you go to the Tools or help menu (depending on if you are online or using the desktop version), and choose "send file to agent"? This will upload an anonymous version of your file to the tech support database and give you a token number. Post the token number here and I will try and flag this for attention.

Q. I am still finding scholarship or other income from box 3 being unearned?
Yes. If you enter it as box 3, 1099-Misc income it will end up as either unearned "other income" (line 8z Schedule 1) or self employment income (Schedule C) depending on how you respond to the follow up interview.
To get it treated as hybrid stipend-scholarship income, it must be reported on line 8r of Schedule 1. To get it there, you must enter it in the Educational expenses-Scholarships section, under deductions and credits. Do not enter it in the 1099-MISC section under Wages and income.
If you're concerned about the 1099-Misc not showing up on the tax forms, there's a workaround for that. But, it's not necessary.
Report the scholarship income, on Schedule 1, line 8r. Enter as previously described.
Then also report the 1099-Misc as other income, line 8z, Schedule 1 income (enter in TurboTax at the 1099-Misc screen). Then enter an offsetting line 8z deduction, for the same amount. In TurboTax (TT), enter at: - Federal Taxes tab - Wages & Income Scroll down to: -Less Common Income -Misc Income, 1099-A, 1099-C - On the next screen, choose – Other reportable income - Answer yes to Any other Taxable Income
-On the next screen, Enter the number with a minus sign (-) in front. Briefly explain at description, e.g. "1099-Misc reported as scholarship"

You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it. It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner. The IRS does not allow you to take it back.
If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.” The changes will go nowhere.
Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return. If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.
Sometimes—not always— the IRS corrects your mistakes, while they are processing your return.
If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund. THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally. You will need to use a form called a 1040X.
Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself. Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed
The Form 1040X is scheduled to be available on February 26. The date is subject to change, so check on 2-26 to see if it is ready. Before that, do not change anything at all on your return.

To clarify, the dividend was lumped with the company stock shares at their transferred price as one line item that said rollover contribution on my brokerage IRA monthly stmt. The tax on the dividend probably is about $25, maybe it is better to just report it as dividend and pay the tax on it, and not worry about making any adjustments to complicate the matters further?
