Thanks for that information.  I tried that and still got the error on the form.  Maybe I'll try again.
I have turbo tax deluxe 2025 and turbo tax deluxe won't let me file NYS even after I filled in box 16 with amount in box 1. How to file electronically when your software won't let me?
Later this month or sometime in March.

TT Business 2025 for North Carolina error check reported: start of error message "NC Information Worksheet: Special appointment box should be checked if a Special Apportionment Formula is entered on Form D-403, Part 2, Line C.  "check box" Special Apportionment box end of error message   My partnership should not elect Special Apportionment because the entity is not in the list that this applies to. TT entered 0.0000% on  Form D-403, Part 2, Line C which can not be overridden. BTW, TT 2024 entered 0.0000% without error last year.   How can this error be fixed ?
To clarify, what are you referring to when you mention the first line?

When you add the ETF as an investment, you have to select "Other" and then select "Collectible" from the dropdown list.
Sounds like the browser permission issue everyone is having this year, see   https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/import-tax-document-into-turbotax/00/3775553

Brent72 is correct, I just did this over the weekend.  In other terms, whoever installs it first, all the other computers will need their login info to install on the 4 subsequent PC.s  I will also add, you will need the original installers on standby as, even with their login and password, it will need send a code to their phone in order to complete the install. ( just called my Dad and asked him for the code and entered it).  After the install is complete, it did the usual, we found your tax return from last year on this PC, do you want to transfer your info....your tax return in your name is ready to prepare.  Original installer cannot see your tax return.

I followed the prompts to download my 1099 tax info from Fidelity.  All seemed to go well.   I successfully logged into Fidelity and I got a screen with the message “Success! We got your tax data. You can now return to Turbotax.”  But when I returned to TurboTax, nothing had changed.    Attempt 1:  The first time I did this I declined to give TurboTax requested permissions on a Windows 11 screen that popped up after I received the “Success” message.  (The permissions seemed ominous and unnecessary since I Turbotax told me it had my 1099 data.)     Attempt 2: After the first try, I exited Turbotax without saving the data file so I could try again fresh with the intention of approving the requested permissions.  I got the same result except a Windows 11 screen did not appear asking me to approve permissions.    Attempt 3: I exited Turbotax again without saving the data file and tried again after restarting Turbotax as an Administrator.  Same result is in Attempt 2.    Guidance would be appreciated.    BTW, I have a CSV file version of my Fidelity Consolidated 1099, it there is a way to import that into Turbotax.
