It's not being sent to the IRS. Turbotax catches it and bounces it back to you.

If error check requires it, I would recommend entering the state distribution in boxes 14-16.
You are able to check the Federal and state balances to be refunded or owed. Print out or view the Federal 1040 income tax return and the state income tax return(s) to ensure that the balances of your income tax returns are not being changed.
You may print or view your full tax returns prior to filing after you have paid for the software.
View the entries down the left side of the screen at Tax Tools.
Select Print Center.
Select Print, save or preview this year's return.

The cause of this is often cookies/temporary files on your computer. Since these files can interfere with how the software loads, cleaning them out usually fixes the issue.
If you are using the web-based version, try these three troubleshooting methods:
Clear out your stored cache and cookies
Use an Incognito or Private window
Try logging in through a different web browser (for example, moving from Chrome to Firefox or Edge)
If you are using Desktop, manually update: log into your program and select Online, Check for updates in the top menu.

Arizona does make this determination based upon each taxpayer's circumstances. You mentioned renting an apartment and changing your insurance to Arizona while you lived there. This indicates an intent to move to Arizona permanently. But if this is not accurate and your move was only on a temporary basis, then you would be considered a nonresident of Arizona.
Per Arizona residency status guidelines in this link, if you reside in Arizona and intend to make it your new residence, you would be considered a resident, or part-year resident in your case. However, if your move was only intended to be temporary, then you would be taxed in Arizona as a nonresident and would only be taxed on income that was earned from Arizona sources.

You cannot install two different personal TurboTax desktop programs for the same tax year on the same computer because it can cause conflicts. The software is designed to handle multiple returns (up to five federal) in one installation.
However, you can install TurboTax Business along with one other personal version, such as Premier, or Home & Business.
If you need to prepare more than five federal returns, you must use a different computer, use the online version, or file by mail. However, keep in mind that the IRS limits individuals to e-filing a maximum of five tax returns per software license, account, or email address. This is done for security and identification purposes.
Please return to Community if you have any additional information or questions and we would be happy to help.

Hi,
Back in November 2025, I got my confirmation for my TurboTax products (like every year). The order email provides a link to download the products.
However, when trying to download, after entering the License Codes received, the download screen shows "Whoops! We hit a snag loading your data. Please try again."
The products I purchased are:
TURBOTAX DESKTOP ADVANTAGE HOME AND BUSINESS TAX YEAR 2025 MAC DOWNLOAD
TURBOTAX DESKTOP ADVANTAGE BUSINESS TAX YEAR 2025 WIN DOWNLOAD
Can you please resolve and provide me a way to download the products? (I do not want to use the online versions!).
Also, this is a product support issue that should be handle by Intuit. It seems that there is no way to open a ticket with Intuit. Why do I need to ask the "Community" on this issue/
Need urgent help to resolve this asap and do our taxes

If you're the beneficiary of an estate K-1 filing Form 1040 for yourself as an individual taxpayer, you will use the K-1 to pick up and pay tax on the passthrough income, but you will not attach the original K-1 to your tax return. Instead, verify that each K-1 box with an amount reported is entered accurately such that those amounts flow through to the corresponding lines on the 1040. Per the IRS Instructions for Schedule K-1 (Form 1041) for a Beneficiary Filing Form 1040:
Use Schedule K-1 to report a beneficiary's share of the estate’s or trust’s income, credits, deductions, etc., on your Form 1040 or 1040-SR. Keep it for your records. Don’t file it with your tax return, unless backup withholding was reported in box 13, code B.
You will use these same instructions to verify that each K-1 item on your individual return is consistent with the way the items were treated on the estate return. The agency already has a copy of the K-1 from the 1041 filing, they just need you the taxpayer to report the final treatment of the income.
Is any item of K-1 income missing from the corresponding lines of income on page 1 of your 1040 (pages 1 and 2 of 1040-SR), or is your taxable income lower than anticipated?
