What product edition did you end up with?   If not Free Edition, are you in Deluxe or Premium? Check your fees with one of both of these 2 ways.   With your return interview open, in the top right is a shopping cart icon.  Click that and a popup of your fees should appear.  What all does it show?   Or you can try this.  In the left menu column click on TAX TOOLS, then TOOLS.  In the tools window choose the blue button MY FEES.   It may show the same thing as the shopping cart.   Depending on what all you find, we may be able to tell you how to remove something, or possibly downgrade to Free Edition--IF you don't have any situations in your return that Free Edition doesn't handle.

see blog post below, apparently it was as much a business decision as any technical limitation.  Canada is different s/w, different user base (no Mac, still have basic editions), probably legal liability was a consideration.  Canada version lists Win 11 as system requirement but allowed the installation on Win 10 after user uproar last year, US did not.  Intuit has no obligation to support their s/w on an unsupported OS and apparently determined there would not be enough users to make it worthwhile.  Their strategic direction is online, desktop is less than 1% of revenues and in decline.  They could scrap Mac support or desktop entirely in the coming years.   HRBlock/TaxAct made a different decision so you can use them.  Others have solved this with Win 11 VM.   https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/articles/community-news-announcements/turbotax-windows-10-desktop-software-end-of-life/05/3708302

they didn't just refer to a pension payment as an annuity, which is confusing in itself, but the next screens ask for information (start date, initial cost, etc.) that apply to annuities, not to pension payments.  Not including this irrelevant information then prevents a filer from completing the return and filing electronically.

What you are seeing is correct.  Both forms represent "income" as the term is defined in the tax code, but the rollover to the traditional IRA is nontaxable income.  Being nontaxable, it has no effect on your tax return other than being required to be present on Form 1040 line 5a and the ROLLOVER box nearby being marked.  TurboTax's summary shows both taxable and nontaxable income so that you can use the total to verify that you have entered all of your Forms 1099-R.

ADDENDUM Oh, just thought of this.  If the "3 heads" icon in the upper right corner is still visible, that is another way to sign out.  When you click on the 3 heads, in a dropdown menu there is also a "Sign out" option.    But sometimes the heads icon also disappears when the blue circle disappears.

I saw the Blue Circle at one point.  Now I don't see it any more.  And I can't log out.   If fact, I was away from my PC for a few hours; and when I come back, I thought I would be timed out and have to log in again.  But I wasn't timed out.  Does this web site time out INACTIVE users?  If yes, when?   PS.  If I refresh the screen, I see something flashing under "Sign In", but can't really see what it is.   Also, as I am typing now, I see on the upper right corner "Sign in to TurboTax"  and under it , "Sign In" with a lock.  Since I am posting questions/replies, it would mean I am already signed in.  So why am I still seeing these Sign In buttons -- and NO Blue Circle to log out?

@amand  asked:  "How do i know if something is wrong with my taxes or not it still hasnt changed the status since it was accepted"   By "it still hasn't changed" what is the "it?" Are you referring to the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool, which is what you should be going by? https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund   If that tool shows it's been processing for longer than 21 days since it was accepted, you could phone the IRS to ask about it.  They may or may not be able to tell you anything yet.  Some returns require extra processing for various reasons; sometimes ID verification, etc. or other additional information.  Sometimes they perform more processing on a random basis.   However, this time of year there is a common delay for any return that has EIC or ACTC tax credits.   Because of the PATH Act, the IRS has to wait until after February 15 to begin issuing refunds for folks who had those tax credits in their returns.   So the IRS this week will finally begin issuing refunds for those situations.   As a result, filers with those types of credits may not see their Federal refund until late February or early March.
