My state teacher's retirement sent only one 1099-R w/code 7 in box 7. I didn't turn 59.5 until about mid year, so code 7 didn't apply until then (code 2 applied before then).
For comparison, I also receive a small retirement check monthly from my local school system. They indeed did send TWO 1099-R's this year: One with my earnings for the first part of the year with code 2 in box 7 for when I was under 59.5, and another with the amount I received after I turned 59.5 and code 7 in box 7.
Should I press my state teacher's retirement to issue me two 1099-R's (for before and after 59.5) or does it matter since the end result is the same as both code 2 and code 7 in box 7 mean that you don't pay an additional 10% penalty on retirement earnings? Will the discrepancy trigger an audit? Should I note that my 1099-R from the state is incorrect?

In the pop-up window, select Delete a form.
Scroll through the list and look for Personal Property Tax Worksheet or Car Registration Worksheet.

Check your Deductions & Credits summary to see if the amount is gone.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop.
Click the Forms icon (top right).
Find Tax and Interest Wks (Tax and Interest Deduction Worksheet) in the left pane. Select it and it will apeear in the right pane.
Find the line for Personal Property Taxes.
Right-click the field and select "Clear Field" or manually delete the value. If it's highlighted in blue, it means it's a "supporting" field—double-click it to find and delete the source sheet.
