If you are getting a message regarding your marketplace insurance coverage and you don't have marketplace health insurance coverage, first make sure you answered "No" to the question "Do you need to report any1095-A's?"
You can get back to those screens in TurboTax to review them as follows:
Click on "Search" at the top left of your TurboTax screen.
Type "Form 1095-A" in the search box
Click on the link that says "Jump to Form 1095-A"
This will take you to the screen that says, "Do you need to report any Forms 1095-A's?"
Make sure this is answered "No"
You should also delete Form 1095-A if it is included in your tax return as follows:
If you are using TurboTax Online:
In your left panel of your TurboTax screen click on "Tax Tools"
And then Click on "Tools"
Click on "Delete a Form"
Scroll through your list of Forms
Click the garbage can next to "Form 1095-A" if you have one listed.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can:
Click on "Forms" in the upper right of your TurboTax screen to switch to "Forms Mode"
In your left panel scroll down and look for "Form 1095-A"
In your right panel at the bottom of Form 1095-A click on "Delete Form"
Click on "Yes" to confirm the deletion.
Form 8962 is for the Premium Tax Credit. You should also delete this Form if it is in your return. You can do this using the steps listed above. Just substitute Form 8962 in place of Form 1095-A.

It depends. In order to claim your child as a dependent, they must meet all of the qualifications:
The child must be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. national, U.S. resident, or a resident of Canada or Mexico
They can't be claimed by someone else
They can't file a joint return with a spouse, unless they have no tax liability and are only filing to get a refund
Are they related to you? The child can be your son, daughter, stepchild, eligible foster child, brother, sister, half-brother, half-sister, stepbrother, stepsister, adopted child or an offspring of any of them.
Do they meet the age requirement? Your child must be under age 19 or, if a full-time student, under age 24. There's no age limit if your child is permanently and totally disabled.
Do they live with you? Your child must live with you for more than half the year, but several exceptions apply.
Do you financially support them? Your child may have a job, but they cannot provide more than half of their own support.
Please see this TurboTax tips article for more details.
Contact your local, usually County, Department of Public Social Services with questions regarding the children's eligibility for Medicaid (Medi-Cal in California) or SNAP benefits.
Medicare insurance is for those over 65 years of age or disabled.

Research is telling me that Form 3468 Part V 48E credits should be able to be carried back 3 years. Is this true? In turbo tax 2024 under Form 3800 carryback I see the option for the Part V carryback identified as 1v, but going past that ( turbo tax 2023, and I presume 2022) there is no 1v available if I try to apply a carryback to those.

@psrob365 ADDENDUM: I added some info to my comment above suggesting you also check your Oregon forms availability in the chart at this link below. Do you have any form that is not yet ready to efile? The first column is for Printing, and the second column is efile availability. If you're using desktop product, then in the top right corner of that page change the table to display results for the desktop product. TurboTax Form Availability Tool

Very frustrating, as my Acorns statement shows a few 1099-B trades, and I don't trust myself to enter them manually. Any word from TurboTax on a fix?

Hello, Turbo Tax Deluxe for Windows user here. I sold two items on eBay for a total of $1,300 and made a $230 profit after expenses. I received a 1099‑K from eBay and entered the gross amount from Line 1a in TurboTax under Wages & Income → Income from 1099‑K. When asked, “What type of income is your 1099‑K for?”, I selected Personal item sales – Money made from selling your personal property (like concert tickets or furniture). After entering all the required 1099‑K details, TurboTax brought me to the screen: Personal Item Sales → “We’ve added your personal item sales. You’ll need to enter additional information for your sale in another section.” It then asks: “Enter the total proceeds for items sold at a loss.” 1)I sold some items at a loss or had no gain 2) All items were sold at a loss or had no gain This is where the confusion starts. To report the gain correctly, I have to choose “All items were sold at a loss or had no gain” so that TurboTax will let me report the gain under: Investment Income → Stocks, Crypto, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other → Personal Items From there, I entered the remaining details, and TurboTax reports the gain without creating a Schedule C or triggering self‑employment tax and generated the Schedule D which appears to be the correct treatment for occasional personal‑item sales. Given this workflow, should TurboTax consider improving the wording on the “sold at a loss or had no gain” section? As written, it’s misleading for users who actually have a gain to report. Thoughts?

A Wage Settlement payment resulted in three IRS forms: W2, 1099MISC, and 1099INT. If the money from the lawsuit was divided unequally among these three forms, when entering the 1099MISC in TurboTax, should I answer the "Was any part of the lawsuit settlement for back wages?" as No, since that amount was already entered from the W2?

You are a resident of Indiana and a nonresident of Illinois. On the Indiana income tax return, you are eligible for a credit for taxes paid to another state.
The credit is calculated on Group A Worksheet on page 37 of the Indiana IT-40 Booklet. The Indiana IT-40 Booklet may be found at this website.
The lesser of the amounts on A, B or C is your allowable credit for taxes paid to other states. Since you are allowed a credit of $1,795. I presume that option A is $3,000 and option C is $1,875. The credit figure was computed from option B which states:
Multiply the amount of income from the other state (that is subject to Indiana tax) by 3% (.03)
We are not able to see the dollar amounts on the two tax returns. Please provide the proper income, deductions and withholding numbers that you calculate.

Sometimes people get confused by the “summary” given by TurboTax and use the wrong amount for the federal refund. Make sure you are only using the federal refund amount, and not an amount that combined your federal and state refunds.
Your federal refund amount is on line 35a of your Form 1040

Let us know how re-importing turns out and if you have any further questions! If you need to enter any manual calculations on Schedule A, the navigation is Forms > Form in My Return > Form 1040: Individual > Schedule A. From there, you just need to enter any values calculated on your own if they can be typed in, or right-click > Data Source, to jump to the appropriate worksheet to enter your data.

Once there, go down to the Other Return Info section, and you will see the Identity Protection PIN section. Work through the interview questions to enter your IP PIN.
