You can submit an accuracy claim to TurboTax if you feel you have to pay the IRS as the result of an error on the part of TurboTax.
If you underpaid your estimated taxes, then you may be subject to interest and penalties. The payment of estimated taxes is subject to many variables based on when money is earned, when associated expenses are paid and when the related estimated taxes are paid in. Guidance that you may have received from TurboTax was based on your estimate of future income and expenses. If you did not update the estimates as actual business results came in, then the estimates entered in TurboTax would not be valid.
You can see this TurboTax article to learn how you can submit an accuracy claim.

You are correct about wanting to deduct local business mileage and after reading Pub 463, my belief is the tax home could either be the home residence or the most significant job, which if the job (pub 463 is ambiguous about the exact criteria) , would in this case likely be the 1099 job, either way traveling from home to the 1099 job would be considered commuting. But as for the 1099 job to 1st W2 job (2nd trip) and travel from the 1st W2 to 2nd W2 job (3rd same day trip) why would that travel not be deductible when Pub 463 2024 (most current version), page 20 left column explicitly states: "Two Places of work. If you work in two places in 1 day, whether or not for the same employer, you can deduct the expense of getting from one workplace to the other" (limited to the direct mileage between the two locations). Page 19 of Pub 463 has the chart below which also explicitly shows that while travel from home to the main job is never deductible, travel to the 2nd job is Always deductible The caution is to not use the chart if your home is your principal place of business, which is as I read it, if you actually have a "home office" which most don't, hence "Most employees and self-employed persons can use this chart."

Now working with Business 2025 and have same problem as others had in 2024. Found post saying need to download an update w.bizrel superpatch (etc.) did it but didn't fix. I have been TurboTax user for many years but they have become next to impossible to receive any customer service. Now they have known program issues but don't tell anybody and AI won't let you reach an agent.

My refund advance has been a nightmare. I applied for the refund advance, and I got an email confirming this. When my refund was approved, I never got the money. I called everyone, and Turbo Tax was not at all helpful. They stated that this was an issue across the board, acknowledge that "they didn't know why this happened." They stated that my refund was sent in to the IRS as 5 days early, not the refund advance I filed for. I spent hours on the phone. They refused to let me speak to a supervisor. They told me to call the IRS- Why? The IRS had nothing to do with it.

The previous attempts to answer this question are not sufficient. I have a Substitute Form 1099-PATR which lists amounts for boxes 3, 6,7, and 8. The words used on the form to describe these amounts don't match with the questions which are asked in Easy-Step for farm rental income and expenses, so it's not helpful. If I enter the right numbers to the wrong question, then Turbotax will enter the amounts on the incorrect forms and that will cause all kinds of problems. I also agree with an earlier post which suggested that you add the 1099-PATR form to Turbotax. The program allows you to enter numbers on other 1099 forms, so why not the PATR?

I've input the correct details 3 times and it keeps getting rejected due to my 1095A. I am on my parents' insurance, I am not listed as a recipient, but as a covered individual. I am independent and have selected the option that I share the policy with someone not on my taxes. Nevertheless, it keeps getting rejected.

Turbotax has generated two Form 5329s for you and your wife because the Form is for each individual.
If Unnecessary: If your spouse did not have an RMD, excess contribution, or premature distribution, the form is likely not needed and can be deleted, though it generally does not cause issues if filed.
To delete the unnecessary Forms, do the following:
When inside of your TurboTax account, go to Tax Tools found on the left panel.
Click on the down arrow to expand the menu
Scroll down and select Tools
Select Delete a form from the menu options that appear
Look for Form 5329-S (T=Taxpayer, S=Spouse)
Click on the trash can icon to the right of the Form
Forms typically generate, as an example, if you have a required minimum distribution (RMD) that had to be taken, but was not.
When inputting the information from your Form1099-Rs, if you were prompted to answer questions about RMD, this is an indication that a minimum distribution was required.
Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) are mandatory withdrawals from retirement accounts starting at the age of 73.
If you are now at the age, but did not take the distribution, here are a few things to know:
You must immediately take the distribution to minimize penalties, which are 25% of the shortfall, or 10% if corrected within two years
The first RMD must be taken by April 1 of the year following the year you reach age 73
Subsequent RMDs are required by Dec 31 annually
When in TurboTax and you see, "Let's get more information about your RMD", follow these steps:
If you do not know what your RMD is, contact your financial advisor to assist you
Don't enter an amount if this is your first year and you will be taking the distribution by April 1, enter "0" instead
Click the following links for more information, What are required minimum distributions (RMD)? and What is Form 5329?

Do I get a credit or deduction if my child is disabled?
If your child is older than 12 and you need to pay someone to take care of him while you work, you can say he is disabled and you can still get the childcare credit on your federal return. Or if he is 19 or older you may still be able to claim him as a qualifying child dependent on your federal return.
Aside from those things, there is no federal tax advantage to saying that your child is disabled. Your state tax laws might be different.
However——if there are any costs for education as a result of your child’s disability, you may be able to enter them as a medical expense:
From the IRS:
Special Education
You can include in medical expenses fees you pay on a
doctor's recommendation for a child's tutoring by a
teacher who is specially trained and qualified to work with
children who have learning disabilities caused by mental
or physical impairments, including nervous system disor-
ders.
You can include in medical expenses the cost (tuition,
meals, and lodging) of attending a school that furnishes
special education to help a child to overcome learning dis-
abilities. Overcoming the learning disabilities must be the
primary reason for attending the school, and any ordinary
education received must be incidental to the special edu-
cation provided. Special education includes:
• Teaching Braille to a visually impaired person,
• Teaching lip reading to a hearing disabled person, or
• Giving remedial language training to correct a condi-
tion caused by a birth defect.
You can't include in medical expenses the cost of send-
ing a child with behavioral problems to a school where the
course of study and the disciplinary methods have a ben-
eficial effect on the child's attitude if the availability of med-
ical care in the school isn't a principal reason for sending
the student there.

@jgturbo35 You do not have access to forms and schedules in online TT. And you do not need access to 1A. Anything that goes there will be automatically entered on 1A when you make your entry during the interview questions, or in the case of the senior deduction--automatically when you enter your date of birth and filing status.
Deductions resulting from entries in 1A show up on line 13b of your Form 1040.
What are you looking for? Senior deduction? Car loan interest? Tips? Overtime?

An employer is required to obtain an employer identification number (EIN) even if it's in their home. Since you are not self employed then they must apply for the EIN to complete the W-2 correctly. The employer must take steps to correct immediately.
Form W-2 for Household Employee
It's possible you may have to mail your tax return since the EIN isn't present in your W-2. It's a good idea to check with the payroll company because maybe they already have one.
As a side note and for your information, if you receive and EIN and it wasn't obtained earlier, you may still have to mail your tax return if the name of your employer and EIN do not match IRS records. They have a tracking system to confirm the match and sometimes it's not updated in the system quickly enough to e-file.
