Why no TurboTax 2025 icon on my desktp? I have 2024 & 2023 icons and I downloaded info from 2024.

I entered some info & downloaded 2024 info but it never asked me what TT version I wanted & there is no icon on my desktop for 2025.

Received a CP28A notice. States I may have claimed too large of a home mortgage interest deduction. 1098 and Schedule A appear correct. No fine listed. What do I do?

It says if I claimed a deduction in error, I should amend my return. After reviewing 1098 and Schedule A, Schedule A contains claims partial mortgage interest and appears correct. I am assuming I do nothing but not sure that is a safe assumption.

Does anyone know why? I file my taxes in 2023, I need to amend the taxes to include my kids, who got their SS#. Paid for deluxe, yet the system doesn't allow me to amend.

When you are done filing it will ask do you want your refund back in whatever debit card you used or a check or charity or Apply for turbotax advanced.

is my niece who I have power of attorney for and lived with me all of 2025 eligible as my dependent to claim on my 2025 taxes?
