What tax year are you looking for? 2024? Or some earlier year?
You will be able to access the 2024 return you started by using the exact same account and user ID that you used when you started it. But you can no longer use online software for any further changes.
Start a 2025 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
Online tax preparation and e-filing for 2024 returns is now permanently closed.
Now it is too late to use online software or to e-file. If you have any changes/corrections at all to make to your 2024 return, you now have to complete it using desktop software, which you must download to a full PC or Mac (not to a mobile device). Then you need to print, sign and mail it.

If you already paid for your online software you can ask customer support for a download of the desktop software.
They are available from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time Monday - Friday

If you are getting a refund, there is no penalty for filing late. If you owe tax due, then file and pay the amount due as shown on the Form 1040, but expect a bill later from the IRS for the penalty and interest you will owe. Only the IRS will calculate this—TurboTax will not calculate it.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

As a worker in a reciprocal state, you can fill out that state's exemption form and give it to your employer if you don't want them to withhold taxes for your work state. If you do this, make sure your employer also withholds taxes for your resident state, otherwise you may get hit with underpayment penalties come tax time.
Michigan
If you're a resident of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin, submit the MI-W4 form.

In general, charitable deductions are limited to 60% of AGI for cash contributions and 30% of AGI for contributions of appreciated assets, such as stock. But these are not additive. So if you contribute 30% of AGI with appreciated stock you can only deduct another 30% of AGI with cash. The cash deduction is taken first, then the appreciated asset deduction. However, the cap is a little different if contributions are made to certain types of charities, called "50% limit organizations". In that case, after recognizing the 30% cash deduction you can only deduct appreciated stock up to the lesser of (1) 50% of AGI minus cash contributions or (2) 30% of AGI. So if your cash contributions were 30% of AGI, this leaves you with a cap of only 20% of AGI. Bottom line, it is critical that TT treat your contributions correctly as to whether they are to "50% limit orgs". When I put dummy data into my 2024 return to it treats contributions to my donor advised fund as being to a "50% limit org" and limits my deduction accordingly. My research tells me that is incorrect, but I don't see any place in TT to override that designation.

Did you e-file your state tax return and was it accepted? Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...

Sorry it's too, late to start a 2024 or prior online return or use the mobile app, either on Turbo Tax or the IRS. And too late to efile. If you need to do 2024 or prior you can buy the Desktop download here, TurboTax 2022 Prior Year Tax Prep - File Past Years' Taxes You will need Windows 10 or Mac OS Ventura 13 or later to install 2024. If you can't install the Desktop program or if you have a simple return and want to file for free, you can print out the blank IRS forms and fill them out by hand. Here are some basic forms….. Here is the IRS 2024 Form 1040 https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040--2024.pdf or if you want bigger type use 1040SR for Seniors, https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s--2024.pdf And 2024 Instructions https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/i1040gi--2024.pdf Sch 1 : https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s1--2024.pdf Sch 2 : https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s2--2024.pdf Sch 3 : https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s3--2024.pdf Then when you do file 2025 enter 0 for the 2024 AGI since you are filing 2024 late. You have to print and mail prior year returns. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.

But if you weren’t divorced by Dec 31, 2024 you and he can only file as Married Joint or Married filing Separate, not Single. Same for 2025 if you aren’t divorced in the next 21 days.
