Exactly, and H&R Block Premium and Business is pretty inexpensive considering it can do estate/trust income tax returns AND your personal income tax return (1040).   Just make sure they actually support MN fiduciary (M2 or whatever it is).

I did an internship in the U.S. end of 2024 - beginning of 2025.  My taxes were easy to file for 2024. No I would like to file for the rest of 2025, it's only been 2 months.  I am already back in my home country and not in the U.S. anymore. I am not able to finish the filing and I already payed 80$ for the turbotax system und expert assist... But it is not possible to reach anyone via chat. It is only possible via phone call which is not possible for me from Europe. Besides that the website is getting cought up right before filing via e-mail.  Anyone knows a solution to solve my problem?

Then indicate you do not have any W-2's on the screen for which this is being asked.   The Form 1099-R section is estimated to be finalized and available in TurboTax on 01/21/2026
Ok. Thank you.  Buying a second tax software would still be way cheaper than the $345/hr or somehow over $1000 an accountant wants to fill out a trust tax return. 🙂 Mark

Okay. I know it's still processing so I will have to wait and see if it is approved. I'm just worried that it won't be because of the deadline. I read on Google that if it's filed before that 3 year mark then I will be approved and will receive a refund.
In 2025 Turbo Tax why aren't my prior year business expenses showing? They are in the forms document. I successfully imported my personal information, but no business information carried over.
I am retired US Army No W2's
I am severely disappointed in TT2025. Here it is 01/20/26 and is still not fully functional. This may the last time I use it. Waste of money

@Christiananthony95 wrote: Even if I verified my identity? Because my refund was approved by TurboTax for that year. TurboTax does approve tax refunds.  TurboTax only e-filed the return, it up to the IRS or State to Accept or Reject the tax return.   After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
They have not yet been released yet.  They are scheduled for early next week.
Even if I verified my identity? Because my refund was approved by TurboTax for that year.

So with that being said, I usually let TurboTax take a percentage of my income as payment, would I be able to pay TurboTax after I file my W2 and my 1065 or do I need to pay 2 separate times? You do need to pay twice; once for your personal version of TurboTax and again for TurboTax Business.   I don't believe you can somehow pay for TurboTax Business with a refund of any kind, though. You need to pay for the program upfront and it's download and install only on Windows machines.

I started the interview portion to report the sale of the rental (closed 3/7/25).  I checked the box indicating property sold in 2025.  The next screen asks if rented all year - selected no - then asks number of days rented at fair rental - entered 0, then entered 0 on personal use.  Checked the box that indicates  I did not rent or attempt to rent this property in 2025.  A paragraph then appears stating since it was not a rental at all in 2025, I should delete it as a rental.      This is confusing to me - if I were to delete it as a rental - then where would I enter the sale?  The tenant actually was there for 8 days in January - would it be wiser to say it was rented for those 8 days?    Appreciate any assistance - fyi I purchased the desktop Premire edition this year but seems exactly the same as Deluxe so far.
