What do you mean by "business deductions"? If you are self-employed or have a business, you DO need to file.
Received a AZ refund last year when I lived in AZ and ND; Turbo tax is asking how much of that should be attributed to each state. How do I manage that?

Thanks. It was not clear the contribution really was limited to only what you made from W2 or self-employed work in the same year. That part is not really emphasized in most of the sources for guidance to be found, as I suppose it was assumed. With Fed taxes, I never assume anything like this.

In theory, I'm supposed to be able to do that, but in reality, the Mac version of the form software is locked, no double-clicking or anything else works. I've been on the phone with TurboTax support, and they can't help. They keep reading from their documentation, insisting that yes, I should be able to do this.
I have the same problem. I have premier on Mac and I cannot edit any of the forms.

@8812 Multiple users have posted to this thread that is over a year old.  Not sure what "topic" you are referring to.   Are you having an issue with entering your Social Security benefits?   One thing to watch out for---there is a screen that comes right after you enter the SSA1099 that asks if you lived in certain foreign countries in 2024 while receiving SS----be careful with that one--do not skip it or answer incorrectly.
You don't need that if you are in the correct section.  (it sounds like maybe you are not in the correct entry screen)   Delete that 1099-R if needed go to  Wages & Income Retirement Plan... See more...
