Can you file my taxes without my w2 im getting the run around about the situation of getting my w2 form from my old job
Thank you @PatriciaV . That looks more correct, and it fixes the 2018 numbers that were changed.   This is definitely a TurboTax bug that should be fixed.

Make sure you are using the same TurboTax account (same user ID).  You can have different accounts with the same email address linked to them.  When you enter something in TurboTax Online, it is immediately and automatically saved.  Anything you entered from a desktop would be there in the app if you are using the same account.
For reporting my personal HSA contributions, do I add boxes 12a - 12dd?

Except basic info non-dollar amounts of course. I don't need to prorate some of the other boxes on the second rental K-1 if they are tied to rental real estate?

You can't attach a 1099-MISC to your return.  But you shouldn't need to - the IRS already has a copy of your 1099-MISC and you can enter the data from it.     If you are trying to send a copy of the transactions to the IRS then you can enter the totals from the 8949 forms that you have received and then mail those in if you need to.   @velsu

@DaveF1006 @RobertB4444   1. Should I enter the first W2 (MA) as Robert mentioned below in addition to the second W2 (TX)?  2. In the second W2 (TX), what should I enter for state tax withheld?  Robert's previous response: " When you enter the W2 into the system and scroll down to the bottom for "State Taxes" there is the option to 'Add another state'.  Click that option.  Then you will have two each of boxes 15, 16 and 17.  Enter the information in the first set of boxes exactly as you have it on the W2 that you received.  Then change the amount in box 16 to be the amount that you earned before the move.  Now, in the second state box put Texas in box 15 and the amount of salary that was paid after the move in box 16.  Leave box 17 blank."

RobertB4444, I see that you have edited your response after a comment by bcv on 4/8/25. This is not helping me. What, specifically, do I need to do/ enter in Turbo Tax for the 1040? How do I do to satisfy the IRS that the amount on the original 1099-R has been accounted for? How do I report "manually" prepared 1099-Rs to the IRS? I certainly can't change the 1099-R reported by the Pension fund. If I just enter the lower (correct) amount on the 1040 it will not match what has been reported to the IRS. Handling a Nominee Distribution for a 1099-Int is pretty straight forward. I need direction on what specific steps to take for the 1099-R. I appreciate ant direction that you can give me. Thank you for your assistance.

There should be mortgage interest worksheet included in your prior year's return.  If you didn't print or save a pdf of the entire return, you can access it as follows:     Sign in to your account.  Make sure it is the same account you used to prepare last year's return.  There are two ways to get your prior-year returns: Select Documents from the menu, use the dropdown menu to choose the tax year you want, and select Download tax PDF. On Tax home, scroll down and select Your tax returns & documents. Select the year you want and select Download/print return (PDF). For the old HELOC, yes enter zero as the balance as of 12/31/2024.  Home improvements paid for with the new HELOC would only apply to that loan when you are calculating the different amounts of interest to deduct.
