I DO NOT HAVE A PRINTER—WHAT CAN I DO?
We cannot solve your printer problem for you. TurboTax cannot print it for you. If you do not have a working printer, you can access your account from any computer that has internet access and print your return. Or save it to a flash drive. Perhaps you need to see if a friend or relative can let you print from a computer with a printer. Or print it at a UPS place or Staples, etc.

Took a long time BUT we found where to enter IRA distribution for a one-time HSA Funding Contribution. They really call it HSA Funding Distribution which seems odd. Anyway, on Form 1099-R Distribution from Pensions, IRA, etc. go to the Insurance section. The middle choice is Amount of health savings account (HSA) funding distributions to enter your number. By doing this it is recorded as HFD on line 4B of the 1040. HFD is an acronym for HSA Funding Distribution.

You want the Other Reportable Income entry. After you choose the 1099-A/1099-C option, scroll all the way down to the last option in the list - it will be Other Reportable Income. You can search for other reportable income (use that exact phrase) and use the Jump to other reportable income link in the search results.

MFJ, and we both contributed a small amount to our Roth accounts in January of 2024 before we realized we'd be over the income limit for the year. Our custodian removed the contributions plus earnings in March of 2025. I went through the Roth contribution step by step questions, and the total amount removed (original contribution plus earnings) now appears on the 1040 in box 4a, but there's no amount in box 4b, where I believe the earnings should appear. I did complete "made up" 1099Rs for each of us for this event. I checked box 2b (taxable amount not determined) and left box 2a blank per the custodian's projection of what will be on the 1099Rs when they are received, but should I uncheck box 2b and enter the earnings in box 2a, since I know them (the difference between the contribution and the total amount removed)? How do I get the earnings to appear in the proper place, and are there any additional forms that I need to file with this year's return to properly account for this event?

Why doesn't Turbo Tax offer to mail us a printed form of the tax forms for those of us who do not have access to a printer? I would be willing to pay a fee to receive a printed copy by mail.

You're only entering one number; either 300 or the actual square footage of your home office, if less than 300.
If your home office is larger than 300, you won't use the simplified method and you'll enter that number instead.
Review your entries in that section. Make sure you indicate that 100% of your business income was earned from that home office (unless you have multiple offices).

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
https://www.irs.gov/refunds
To track your state refund:
https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_US_en_US?uid=lt447ebr
If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing

Since you did not enroll in 2024, you cannot enter anything for 2024. The credit has nothing to do with your last years income is it strictly based on your income for the year you are enrolled. I am not sure where you saw the note asking for permission to check IRS and extend in 2025? On the marketplace site? If this is where you saw it, then all you need to do at the end of the year is to call them and redo your application. It is better to update at the end of the year to be sure that you still qualify and also at the end of the year, you will have a better idea of what your income will be going in the 2026.

It is a mistake to try to download another version of desktop software. It is unnecessary. Every version of desktop has all of the same forms and schedules so you can use Deluxe for anything you can do with Premier; you just get more help in the interview screens with Premier. If you already have Deluxe and want Premier---just upgrade to Premier. Open the Deluxe program, go up to the top of the TT screen and look over to the far right for the >>>> Click on that and you can choose to Upgrade to Premier. Then all you do is pay the difference between the original price for Deluxe and the price for Premier.
Any version of the desktop software can be used for multiple returns for various family members. You can e-file up to five federal returns and the corresponding state returns.
Seek a refund for the Premier download that you do not need.
