I am unable to open my filed return after logging into my account at turbotax online.. I used only turbotax online, not a desktop version. Prior to filing I was able to go to tools/printcenter to print (including print to PDF) the following items or combo of items: 1) the return, 2) supporting schedules not to be filed with the return and 3) various worksheets used by TurboTax. After filing I cannot access the print center, but am only given the option to download. this download only includes the return. How can I print/download the other schedules and worksheets described as 2) and 3) above?

Hi all, I work in New York and living in New Jersey. I don't have any withholdings for New Jersey. Just finished Federal and New York and due for refunds. I'm going through the New Jersey portion now. I'm at the question "Let's Confirm Your Taxable State Wages from..." and it lists NY and NJ state wages and can check the boxes for both to remove. When I check to remove either or both, it's showing that I'm due for a New Jersey refund, e.g. over $10,000. Historically, I have paid New Jersey for every years filings. I'm confused why I'm getting this amount (a large amount too) from New Jersey for this year's filing. Not sure if TurboTax misread my W-2 but there are two NY sections, one for Federal, and one for NJ. All sections have box 16 with wages. Not sure if this has anything to do with it and not sure how to go about this. Any guidance is much appreciated. Thank you

Hi , I worked at the same job in NJ for all of 2024. I lived in NYC for first 200 days or .55% of the year of 2024. Then I moved to NJ. In my W2 Box has an amount $140000 Box 14 has a row 'NY State Wages' $100,000 Boxes 15-16 have 2 rows , 1 for NY, 1 for NJ like" Box 15 Box 16 NJ $145000 NY $14000 For my NY return, What is the correct amount of total income that I should attribute to NY? 140,000 * 0.55? or the $100,000 reported in Box 14? For the NJ return , what is the correct amount of total income hat I should attribute to NJ? $145,000 * 0.45 ? or $145,000 - $100,000 reported in Box 14? Also, overall in this situation for NJ, do I need a NJ part time resident return AND a NJ nonresident return ? It seems turbotax does not allow e-filing in this case? Thanks,

I turned off the computer's antivirus protection, and it still doesn't work. I am able to sign in to Charles Schwab and get the "Success! We've got your tax information. You can return to Turbo Tax" message, but when I go back to Turbo Tax the download still isn't there. Any other ideas? Would love to get this resolved so I don't have to enter manually as there is much to enter this year, but will do it if I have to.

Can I apply a 2019 Disallowed Passive Loss return (Schedule E carryover worksheet from previous years) as an allowed NOL in my 2024 return (carryover worksheet line 14a)? I had forgotten about it and read it may be possible to apply previous losses to later years, but the terms “Disallowed” and “allowed” have me thinking I cannot apply it.

If you are using TurboTax desktop, this usually happens when an update is needed. Update your software, and the Do Not File should go away.

There should be some sort of explaination.
Here's how you can fix it:
Sign in to your account and select the Fix my return button. Follow any “fix it” instructions to update the information causing the rejection.
Note: Not all rejections will have explicit guides to fix the information. You’ll need to navigate to the program area to address the cause of the rejection.
Time-saving Tip: If what you originally entered is correct, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, a dependent that's already been claimed, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return. This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.
Additional reject instruction here.
