On 4/13/2025 (Sunday) I processed an extension and a large Federal tax payment for 2024. As of 4/15/2025 end of day this payment has not been debited from my bank account, however the payment does appear in in the upper left corner of TurboTax,  as paid, and also appears correct on the Federal extension 4868.    How do I check if this payment is still in que to be paid? What is the typical lead time to process a payment?
Still had the same issue in April 2025.  Was not able to enter Beneficiary percentages in the Beneficiary Share box.  But going to the Forms / K-1 did work! - Thank you!

Did you contact the HSA custodian to request the distribution? If you did, then the HSA custodian would send you a 1099-SA reporting the distribution.   You would enter the 1099-SA and then tell TurboTax that none of the distribution was for medical expenses (this is a question in the 1099-SA sub-interview). When you do this, then the distribution will be added to Other Income and 20% penalty added as well...but the carryover will be cut off at last.
I am enrolled in the Arizona State Retirement System and need to enter a category for box 14, however, there is no choice which applies.  What category should be chosen?
What form are you entering that is asking for an ECN?

@ fuehrergary  Which version of TurboTax do you want to use for your 2024 return--Online TurboTax (browser version) or the desktop version (installed software)?    By mentioning "Tax Home" and "Documents", it sounds like you are currently in Online TurboTax, while your mention of the File menu sounds like you are following instructions for the desktop version, which is NOT how it's done in the Online version.   If you purchased 2024 desktop software, and are trying to use Online TurboTax, you are using the wrong product.   If you want to use Online TurboTax for 2024, that's OK, but just checking to be sure we're all on the same wavelength.   If you used desktop software for 2023, but want to use Online TurboTax for 2024, we can tell you how to transfer the *.tax2023 data file from your computer into the 2024 Online product.
Why doesn't my HSA contributions from Box 12 of the W-2 not show up when taking deductions?
He needs his own account.   Create a new account for him then use the  Easy Extension website.
Go to https://www.irs.gov/payments Make sure you indicate you are making a 2024 extension payment! Making the payment on IRS website also files an extension for you.

I have paid for the efiling of Virginia state taxes but at the very last stage before submission, TurboTax keeps  asking me to check "Annualized Withholdings" stating it must be less than or equal to actual withholding.  I have entered the actual withholding, and I also tried reducing the number but it keeps doing the same thing.   I have checked to confirm that I have the latest updates.   Please help!
I have no idea what to put or how to avoid this
How do I send a payment to the IRS for estimated taxes (along with my extension filing)?

"previous year medical expenses" was a typo.  It should have been "previous years". Since I never took any distribution when I was contributing, I had multiple years worth of medical expenses that I documented that more than offset my final distribution.  None of those expenses were from 2024.   Yes, I told TurboTax that the entire distribution was for medical expenses.   The fact that TurboTax automatically populates line 13b is the gap.  It should not automatically assume the distribution applies to current year medical expenses.  There should be an additional question regarding whether it's for current and/or previous years. The workaround that you suggested worked, but without reading your answers, I wouldn't have figured it out.  I would have overpaid Federal and received a smallerr CA refund.   Thanks for your time and expertise.
