The worksheet is just for your use, it doesn't get filed with your return.

Go back to the NY state tax section. Make sure you indicate that only you had NY Source Income. On the screen asking if all of your wages and/or self-employment income was earned in New York State, choose no. When you're asked if your husband had wages, be sure to choose no. If you see a W-2 summary screen, even if it shows $0 in wages - delete it. With these answers, your IT-203 should update to just your name.

If you, your spouse or any child listed on the Schedule EIC has a missing SSN or the name and SSN does not match the records from the Social Security Administration, IRS may reject an electronic return or send a math error notice.
You should verify the questioned SSNs.
If the SSN submitted on the original return was incorrect, submit a new return or respond to the math error notice with the correct SSN.
If the SSN is correct, contact the Social Security Administration to correct any SSN and name mismatch. After SSA corrects the records, either send in a new return or respond to the math error notice.

If you got a 1099NEC you do have to file it no matter how small. That is self employment income and you have to pay the self employment tax even if you don’t owe any regular income tax on it. Even if it is less than your Standard Deduction and you have no taxable income. You will pay Self Employment tax (Scheduled SE) on a Net Profit of $400 or more on Schedule C in addition to regular income tax on it. You pay 15.3% SE tax on 92.35% of your Net Profit (If it is greater than $400). The 15.3% self employed SE Tax is to pay both the employer part and employee part of Social Security and Medicare. So you get social security credit for it when you retire. You can’t enter 1099NEC or self employment income into the Free Edition. You can fill out Schedule C and enter 1099NEC, Cash or Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Premium or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs. All the Desktop programs have the same forms, so you can buy a lower version.

HI, I have my taxes prepared every by CPA due to also having an LLC. There was a mistake made to my tax basis this year which was caught AFTER my CPA filed my initial tax Return. My initial tax return showed that I owed both State and Federal Taxes. Once I followed up with a few questions, my CPA realized there was a mistake made and the refiled an Amended tax return, which then showed that I would receive a refund for both State and Federal. She Refiled with days of the initial tax filing. As of today, I had two deductions from my checking from both State and Federal leading me to conclude that my initial has been fully processed. Now, I am concerned that my Amended Return will 1) Not process correclty. 2) Only reflect the initial refund amounts 3) How to even begin the process fo disputing the two drafts with both my state and the federal government, and can I dispute? 4) Will the Refund from the amended return reflect the calculation error and Ill recieve a refund for the deductions in addition to my actual refunds. I am pretty annoyed that my CPA put me in this position and also didn't explain that this would even be a possibility. Could someone please shed some light. I have tried to research the context around this particular situation, and haven't been able to locate a clear answer.

Already told you ---no. No one in the user forum has access to your information. We cannot check your e-file status. Give it a day or two. It is not one bit unusual for it to take a couple of extra days for the state to accept an e-file after the federal return has been accepted.

If you search your computer for .tax2022, you may find a backup copy in Documents > TurboTax.
You can transfer a bit of info from a PDF, but not much.

If there isn't an amount in boxes 16 or 17 of your W-2, leave the boxes in TurboTax blank. You will be able to e-file.
