No, it is not required; you can use the federal EIN.   You need a FEIN, CA Corp no. or CA SOS file no.    I selected FEIN on the form without error.    There is a note highlighted on Form 592B that states the form should be disregarded if the information was already entered on the federal return.    But if you enter the withholding on the federal return, it automatically transfers to the CA return and no Form 592B is necessary.     592B with instructions

It depends- in many yes, retirement income through an employer plan is deferred compensation meaning you worked for it but it is not taxed until after you retire.  Traditional IRAs are also tax deferred- you get a reduction in income when you contribute it to the plan, then pay the taxes on it later when you retire and take the money out.  Roth IRAs and Roth 401ks are not taxed deferred, so you do not pay tax on the distributions if you are qualified.
No, you cannot file your State return without filing your Federal return.   Please see Can I prepare and file just my state return using TurboTax?
Keep the cost basis from your 1099-B. Enter the Box 14 RSU amount in the field for W2. You don't need to do anything else.
@CatinaT1 Similar situation here. Do we still have to put the box 15's "State/Payer's state no." even if it's wrong?

You can enter the information from the 1098-T to enter your expenses, and answer the interview questions.  TurboTax will calculate the education credits you're entitled to.   Here's how to enter your 1098-T in TurboTax, from Where do I enter Form 1098-T (Tuition Statement)?:   Enter the 1098-T in the section for Tuition: TurboTax Online: Here is the link: 1098-T. or use the magnifying glass, type "1098-T", and select "Jump to 1098-T" TurboTax Desktop: Select Search. Search for Form 1098-T.   See: Education credits - AOTC and LLC, How do Education Tax Credits Work?
Has anyone been able to enter their 1099K without the Needs Review message?  No one at Turbo Tax customer service has a clue in how to fix it.
What finally worked for me was exiting TT, re-opening the file and saving it on my desktop. I lost a bit of work, but had no trouble after that
This does not work.  Federal K-1, Box 13, Code W is now reserved for "W- Clean electricity production credit".   Please provide a different solution.

In the Foreign Tax Credit section, you'll be asked first if you have other foreign income to report, other than what you already entered in the interest/dividends section.  Say Yes and Continue a few screens until you get a screen asking you to select the type of foreign income you have.  You'll be asked for the Country, Amounts of Income, Tax Paid, and whether 'paid or accrued'.  You'll then see the info on Form 1116.   However, if you're excluding foreign wages, go to the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion section to report this, and remember that you cannot also take a Foreign Tax Credit for income excluded from US taxation.    The screens vary depending on which version of TurboTax you're using, which is why instructions may differ.  If you're using TurboTax Online, clear your Cache and Cookies periodically.    Here's more info on Claiming the Foreign Tax Credit and Form 2555, Foreign Earned Income Exclusion.    @kurmakote
