How do I input the taxes and insurance paid on my house? it looks like I am doubling up when I put the amounts in the two separate places on the form.
If all of your 529 withdrawal was used for qualified education expenses you don’t have to enter the 1099-Q in your return.
@mcmario9    Post this on the TurboTax Canada board.   https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/en-ca/
it's the first step "Review your order" right before the one you enter the refund method to get the taxes back.

If you used TurboTax for 2024, you should not have to enter the refund for your 2025 return, because TurboTax will automatically carry that amount forward to the 2025 return.   However, if you used another method of filing in 2024 or if the refund is not appearing, then you can do the following: 1. Go to Deductions and Credits 2. Go to Other Income Taxes 3. Scroll down to 2024 Refund Applied to 2025 4. Click on Start (or whatever the button says) for 2024 refund applied to 2025 state taxes 5. On the next screen, you will be asked "which state?" and "how much?"
I did that.  I selected my acct.  the issue is when i get the screen saying to return to TT.  Only way is to close the browser.  Then when i go to TT no data was imported
Still nothing there. What is the actual date to expect it? We're more than halfway to the deadline.

@christian-rossi wrote: When will depreciation and amortization be available? Saying it will be ready ‘after February 13th’ is too vague. Users need enough clarity to decide whether they should switch to another provider. Try again on Friday (or Thursday night). I just posted in another thread that switching may not do you much good. H&R Block, for example, has the same issue.

I have a pro rata question as well.  Can you help me with it?  I have a 2020 excess Roth that was officially backdoored in 2022 when it was caught.  I'm in the amendment process for TY 2020 to show that it was recharacterized as a Trad then BD'd.  It's my understanding that I will need to add my SIMPLE Ira balance at 12/31/20 on line 6 of Form 8606 to capture the pro rata for that year but it's not placing that info into the form when I enter it into Part IV of the IRA info worksheet.  ???

Not sure what you mean by "entered incorrectly due to the system"---since the user is the one who keys in the IP PIN.  Did you enter it in the wrong place?   If you have a 6 digit PIN issued to you by the IRS you need to enter it in order to e-file.  Go to Federal>Other Tax Situations>Other Return Info>Identity Protection PIN and enter the six-digit PIN.

You can delete the IP PIN that you entered that are incorrect using the steps listed below.  An IRS Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) is a 6-digit number that is assigned to eligible taxpayers to help prevent fraudulent federal income tax returns from being filed using your Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).   If you are using TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to the IP PIN screen which is under Other Tax Situations. You can edit your IP PIN number there.   If you are using TurboTax Desktop: Go to your Federal Taxes tab. Click on Other Tax Situations. Under the heading Other Return Info, select Start or Update next to Identity protection PIN. On the Identity Protection PIN screen, answer Yes. Select Add and enter your correct IP PIN in the space provided. If you need to remove an IP PIN, select the trash icon. Select Continue, and then  Select Done.   Click here for How do I add or remove my 6-digit IP PIN? If you have additional questions regarding this, please return to TurboTax Community. We would be happy to help you.

I was sent a corrected 1099-NEC form to correct an error in the original form. I have entered the corrected 1099-NEC into Turbo Tax successfully. However, there does not seem to be any way to mark the form as "corrected" in TurboTax. The "corrected" box is checked on the 1099-NEC that I received.  Can the "corrected" box also be reported in TurboTax? If so, how is it entered? Thank you for your help in answering this question.
Because it is a "Subtraction" section, you can try entering a minus (-) in front of your number.
