Are there any solutions for increasing the font size for just the TurboTax app itself? The rest of my desktop and other apps on my macbook are fine. Most of these solutions would change fonts globally for all apps. But fonts in other apps are not as tiny as those in the TurboTax app so these global solutions would make fonts in other apps too large. I noticed that the Windows version of the TurboTax app has a font/zoom control in the lower right of the app. The macOS version of TurboTax app could also benefit from a similar control.

For my state taxes (MN), when I get to the "Other forms you may need" screen, it has Property Tax Refund (Form M1PR) checked. I don't have the information for this yet and plan to do it later. However, I can't uncheck the box.
I have tried removing the state and reinstalling it; I've tried waiting a week for software updates; whatever I try, Turbotax is automatically checking the box and I can't uncheck it. I will want to file the M1PR form later when I have received the necessary information next month, but I want to file the rest of my taxes so I can get my refund.
I am using the desktop version of TT Deluxe on a PC. I submitted token 1351734185-55889680

@kong219 You are posting to a thread that has posts from multiple users; the thread began with a question about a Fidelity affiliate discount. We have no context at all for your one sentence that says,
"It wants me to pay $74.25."
Are you trying to ask about an affiliate discount of some kind---or something else in regard to your fee?

Correct, Both Turbo Tax and HRB have the issue. FreeTaxUSA worked fine with no rejections from Federal return and I received my State refund already. No more using Turbo Tax

That is not correct. Employee business expenses are not deductible on a federal tax return due to the tax code changes in effect for tax years 2018 thru 2025.

Not sure what is making you think you can enter those job-related expenses on a 2025 federal tax return; the law did not change pertaining to W-2 employees deducting job-related expenses on a federal return.
W-2 employees cannot deduct job-related expenses on a federal return. Job-related expenses were eliminated as a federal deduction for W-2 employees by the tax laws that changed for 2018 and beyond. Your state tax laws might be different in AL, AR, CA, HI, MN, NY or PA.
If you are preparing a return for a state that lets you deduct job-related expenses, the information will flow from your federal return to the state return, so enter it in Federal>Deductions and Credits>Employment Expenses>Job-Related Expenses

Depreciation still isn't working as of Feb 13, 2026. Maybe TurboTax shouldn't release their software or take people's money until they have a product that works.

Pensions are included in the income and subtracted out when applicable. MI does have a newly expanded deduction for retirement and pension benefits for individuals born prior to Jan 1, 1967. Form 4884 is used.
Please review the criteria below and your form 4884 to locate the issue. Let us know if you need additional help.
Here are the rules for Qualifying Retirement and Pension Benefits:
The following pensions are automatically deducted from your Michigan taxable income:
- Railroad retirement benefits - U.S. Armed Forces or Michigan National Guard
Pensions from these government agencies are eligible for a pension deduction:
- State of Michigan - Michigan and local governments - Federal civil service
Pensions from private sources are eligible for a pension deduction if they fall into one of these categories:
- Benefits from a pension plan that defines eligibility for retirement and sets contributions and benefit amounts in advance. - Retirement benefits from qualified self-employment plans. - Distributions from a 401(k) or 403(b) plan attributable to your employer's contributions or attributable to your contributions to the extent your contributions result in matching contributions by your employer. - IRA distributions you receive after you turn 59-1/2 or because you've elected to receive your benefits as part of a series of substantially equal payments before you turned 59-1/2. - Benefits from a retirement annuity policy, if you've elected to receive income for life, if you're age 65 or older. Benefits from an annuity when you've elected to receive the income for a specific number of years do not qualify under this definition. - Benefits from any of the above plans if you're the surviving spouse of a person who would have qualified.
These retirement income benefits do not qualify for a pension deduction from your Michigan taxable income:
- Amounts you receive from a deferred compensation plan that lets employees set the amount to be put aside and does not set retirement age or requirements for years of service. These plans include, but are not limited to, plans under Sections 401(k), 403(b) and 457 of the Internal Revenue Code. - Amounts you receive before you could retire under the plan's provisions, including amounts you received because you left your job or withdrew from the plan or because the employer discontinued the plan. - Amounts you receive as an early retirement incentive, unless the incentive is from a pension trust.

I purchased the ARAG will product when checking out on TurboTax on 1/26. I have been emailing them since 1/30. As of today, they said they are waiting for Turbotax to send them info on my order. I have looked in all of my inboxes and there was no email containing the access code from them. How long does it take for Turbotax to send over the ingo ARAG needs in order for me to access the product I paid in full for?

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURNS !
EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

Please enter the trade-in value the dealer gave you for the old car. Additionally, if the new car is also used for business, the cost would include the trade-in value of the older car. Example, you purchased a new vehicle for 25,000 cash (or loan) and a trade-in value of 7,000 for the older car. The sale price for the older car is 7,000. The cost for the newer vehicle is 32,000.
